"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

My girlfriend and I have been going out for almost nine months. She's everything I want in a girl, literally my dream girl. However, there is one simple problem that consistently bothers me: her guy friends.

I'm not sure whether I'm being jealous or actually have a right to think that there is a problem here.

Most of her friends at school are guys (she goes to another school) and she insists on telling me nearly everything that happens between her and them. It always makes me feel like there could be something more between her and one of them. She even told one on Myspace that she "loved him." Whenever I responded with outrage, she told me it was on a friends level, and she loves all of her friends like that. She still talks online and at school to old loves, but insists there only friendships. Its not uncommon for her to tell me about how funny this one is, or how smart another is. These are just a few examples.

Recently, she told me early on in the relationship that she did indeed flirt with other guys, but that "things change."

This girl is the master of making me feel like there is something wrong with me, not with her behavior. "Trust me," she says. But I've been wronged in the past. I admit that I'm somewhat insecure to be going out with a beautiful girl, but really. I've been told that it's normal for guys to worry about guy friends, but this seems too much.

So, what's the deal here? Am I being a jealous ass...or are my thoughts of wrongdoing well founded?

Thanks, in advance.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

my advice to you is to stop being so insecure

here's a few things you need to know

a girl who has a very high interest level will not cheat on you (unless of course she is intoxicated)

to obtain a high interest level, you must have the power in the relationship. the power in a relationship goes to the one who needs the other person less. you get me?

the more insecure you are, the more it drives her away from you and hightens the chances of her cheating on you.

also if she flirts with another guy (these are called sh!t tests), the best thing you can do is to act like it doesn't bother you at all. and you shouldn't care because even if she is the girl of your dreams, you have to know deep down that you do not NEED her, that SHE NEEDS YOU, and you can get any other dream girl anytime you want

when she tells you about another guy, there are a few things you can do in this instance but what i like to do is to tell her about a girl you met, and exaggerate how nice it was to meet this girl and how nice she treated you. she will react with jealousy

the more you try to babysit her and keep her to yourself, the more likely you are to lose her. i've been with a chick who cheated on her bf, it was because her bf was way overprotective of her, always treated her good (he's a "nice guy") to the point that when i came along and attracted her, she was blown away and soon I was blown... away, if you know what i mean

Just be confident. Be sure that your girl wants you.

Right now, you act as if your girl just might not want you anymore.

My advice is to read superman's advice...over and over and over again until you have every word of it memorized.

Then, go to http://www.jbspencer.com/djb/ and read that whole thing....then come back here and thank everyone.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
