"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You can do it for one who certainly would do the same thing for you.
Regardless If she's a high value, you played. Stupid power card that devalued overall. If you didn't want to give up 6 hours driving and wear/tear on a vehicle. Just be honest and say, "hey hun I'm not in the mood to drive 6 hours on Saturday". "I know it'd be fun and we can hang out, but I have some other stuff to do this weekend and I just can't devote that time to a road trip". Pressure flip and say maybe a chick friend wants to go and they can have a boring girls road trip.

Now read what I did and think about what you did. Which would you have saved face and not had to go on a trip?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Im confused....so this isn't the OPS gf??just a chick he's banging??

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Straight savage.

She's not your girlfriend, but if she were, probably should convey it in a different way.

don't know, I told her I didn't want a relationship, but she treats it like it sometimes. It's kind of a don't ask don't say anything about it.
well, she definitely knows the depth (or lack thereof) of your feelings towards her now!

I'm always pretty shocked at the chicks who dont listen to what guy says and/or thinks if they stick around long enough they will how him they are GF material

Well you told her what you wanted though so then it isn't a real relationship. It isn't your fault. The only thing though is that you shouldn't ask for $130 though. Like that's not even something you'd say to your bros.

Yesterday, she asked me to drive her back to her university on Saturday which is a 6 hour round trip and that she would pay for gas money. I told her 6 hours of my time on a weekend is worth way more money than just gas money, so I told her to have 130 dollars in my bank account by a Friday or no deal.
I told her I didn't want a relationship, but she treats it like it sometimes.
I knew there was something missing out of the story. When you're in an exclusive LTR, doing stuff like that is a no-brainer. You would end up driving her because you both do 5hit for each other. That's just how a LTR works.

She wants it to be a LTR, but you don't. She shouldn't assume it is. If you're not officially in a LTR with her, she'd better pay you to do things OTHER than sex.

She brought up again today. Told her I wouldn't do it and she acted like I was a pos. Told her parents knew the sacrifices of having a kid live 5-6 hours away for college and it was wrong to even try to bring me in to this at all. In addition, I told her that she hasn't been holding her end of the bargain very well(gave some examples), and that I wasn't going to go out of my way this time because she has exhausted her favors from me.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
