OK so I'm at school today and I'm talking to my girlfriend and then this is how the conversation went:
Her: Can I go clubbing?
Me: You're 17, don't you have to be 18.
Her: No I can get in. I just wanted to ask because some guys are worried when their girls go to clubs.
Me: Do I need to be worried? (Then this is what pissed me off: )
Her: (She makes a facial expression that looks like a yes-maybe that I need to be worried.)
So at this point I just walk away over to my friends nearby and talk to them and a minute later she says "Fine I won't go." I didn't really respond much to that or anything because I was pissed. I didn't act overly pissed but I think she could tell that I was unhappy because I didn't do any kino that I usually do after that.
Anyway I've got a couple questions about this:
1)Did I handle this alright? I didn't try to control her by saying no but I got my point across by walking away when things got worse.
2)What the f$%* is going on here? I mean she has never been to a club before so why would she want to go now that she has a boyfriend? I mean isn't meeting other guys the whole reason girls go to clubs?
3) (You guys probably can't answer this one as you don't me/her/etc. but: ) Why would she make it seem like I need to be worried about her? Why the f$%^ wouldn't she just say no, in which case I would have been more open to letting her go. I feel that I can't trust as much her now and it's pissing me off. I should be able to know that if she goes to a club and guys are hitting on her that she won't pursue them and will stay faithful to me.
4)Should I bring the subject up again with her and talk about it or just let it go?
And in case you're wondering, I'm sure she likes me now as much as ever as she was all over me today. That's why I'm wondering so much about question #3. I'm also a bit worried that she might go ahead and go to the club anyway behind my back and not tell me about it, but I don't even wanna go down that road yet. Thanks for the help guys, just need a more experienced view on what's going on here.
