Giovanni Casanova's Autobiography, Anyone ever read it?

It read it. Interesting.


First, he lived his life as he wanted it, not by societies standards.
He lived for pleasure.
He came into money because he was likable and he befriended a older patriarch who had no kids and basically adopted him as his son and was given an inherientch.
He spent all of his money on women.
He was a vagabond.
He carried a variety of cologne with him.
He was good looking.
His seduction method was to act inoffensive and play with a girl. He would just be non threatening, and have fun with her, which lead to sex. It was all fun and the girls knew it was about fun and pleasure.
He always cared about his girls. In fact, he would try to set up his girls with other guys for them to marry after he left.
He turned down many offers of marriage. He was not the marrying type. He knew what marriage lead to: laziness, work, degradation of self, while being single led to self improvement and freedom.
He was about freedom and pleasure.

From what I glean from his autobiography,

The thing is that like many memoirs, his is extremely long. I've read about half and then forgot about it.

Fun read.

The thing about his time is that it was a custom to bang the daughter of the tavern owner. And nobody would scream sexual harassment if you got a girl hot and "don'ts" and "stops" combined into "don't stop, pleeeeease don't stop"

Also, his first and second experience was VERY satisfying on all levels. He had a really deep connection with the tavern girl and then the sisters, who he returned to for threesomes quite often.
