I've noticed I've had this issue arise with 2 or 3 girls. There are a few where it never happened. The scenario is typically a group of friends and the girl will come along with. If I feel she is not giving me enough attention, giving others too much attention, etc. I get irritated, get very upset with then girl, etc. And im sure it changes the whole demeanor of the group. There have been instances where the behavior on the girls end was too flirtatious and I've flipped a switch and have done some brazen things like get into an argument and just leave her in a parking lot. Nearly every time, the girl will come back or wonder why I'm upset. I used to think that this was like an initiation phase of a relationship. But that's not a healthy mentality. My question is, am I being too insecure? What's the best way to handle this? Because it has recently occurred, but I controlled my tongue and I'm beginning to think its a negative trait I need to work on.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
