"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I use alcohol as a social lubricant but get way out of control with it and end up pretty smashed. My game is great until this point where I tend to become very needy once intoxicated. it's a catch 22 ..

= alcohol helps with social anxiety and allows me to let loose
= alcohol makes me beta / needy

the obvious response here is to stop drinking .. but i really do become more social and fun while intoxicated.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Switch to beer. No, really. It's hard to get blackout smashed off low ABV macrobrew beer if you have any type of tolerance...unless you're drinking like 8% ABV craft brews you should see an immediate improvement . also, drinking with some food in your stomach, while not as good for you, helps to prevent alcohol being absorbed as quickly and efficiently than drinking with nothing in your stomach.

Also it's an acquired skill. It took me a good number of years of heavily drinking before I could get to the point where I can control my drunk level throughout the night and know where I'm at. You get to learn tricks to it.

You just need to now get so drunk. Which is easier said than done.

Personally, I think alcohol can be a very useful tool for the DJ. All those people who say that you need to game completely sober to be a true playa are full of it. I'm a fvxking unstoppable beast with the right number of drinks in me, and no, that's not just the alcohol talking, the results speak for themselves. But it depends who you are. For some people and those that use it the wrong way, and depend on it for results, it can hurt you.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

^agreed - never drink without food in your stomach. Can't give out too much of this advice. It's the difference between a fun drinking night and a sloppy drinking night.

I also agree that a "true DJ" doesn't need the crutch, but I, myself, am best with the right amount of booze in me, fearless along with no ****s given - it's a natural Alpha boost if done correctly. However, I've also quit the booze for periods of time, and have then realized (as well as researched) that you won't need the crutch: Your mind is a powerful thing, it will adapt.
