"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Hey how do/are you guys making the transition from Afc:eek: to DJ:D without becoming the 'dreaded' jerk:box: ? Im a natural smartass, but a good guy at heart. (I know its better to be a jerk then a 'nice' guy most of the time with the ladies but still...) Ive read all the articles, just looking for some personal experience.
Peace,

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Well, see jerk is someone that doesnt give a DAM, and girls like that! Jerks smoke, act like BADBOYS, hangout with many chiks, and just dont give a dam. I used to be a nice guy, but when i transfered to HIgh school things changed. Well it doesnt matter who u r, CONFIDENCE is all that matters. NICE GUYS dont have ****, they r too DAM scared to become someone they wanna be, they always complaining to themselves that they r ugly, poor, and have no friends and confidence, or whatever. To me all the jerk is, is the guy thats full of confidence. He lives a live like there is no tomorow, he doesnt care if the girl will dump him, or if the guy will kick his ass for stealing his gf, or if his mom gets upset becouse he came drunkk from the party! NICE guys, what can i say they think too much, And when the life is about to end, they die without even having fun. DON JUAN is the guy who has both, he is like nice guy and the bad boy and the jerk, He has carrier, women, and happines in his life.

I'm the same type of person as you man. For a nice guy like us it takes practice to see how far is too much. I learned where the point of being the real jerk is so I know where to stop. I think that experience helped me develop the confidence that I have now. But really I don't like the jerk thing; I agree with shydude that its just all confidence despite who you are. The stage of becoming a temporary jerk was just a phase of going out of my boundaries as a quiet guy

There is no 1-2 path to becoming a DJ from AFC. The path wanders and zigzags. You need to make mistakes. You need to become a Jerk, a Player, and an AFC, among lots of other things, to develop a strong DJ personality. Sure, you can read about it all day, but the only way that you can truly become a DJ is through failure and experience. Make a mistake, crash and burn, FAIL, but learn from it.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

It's like puberty to become a man you eventually go through all the steps. Being a player and jerk isn't bad if you LEARN from the experiance so that when you transition to a DJ you know not to make the mistakes. In conclusion, I agree with daimon.

You will eventually try out every aspect of being a DJ and you're bound to take each one to the extreme (jerk, player, etc.). This, I believe, is to give you a feeling of what you're comfortable with and which amounts of each aspect are applicable in varying situations.
