Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I opened this single set, HB8.
I saw her on the bus and sat across from her. I called my friend just to let him know I was on my way. So I felt like opening this set, to keep my approaching constant so I can get even better.

Me: (opening with a weird but funny opener not my own) You are a real girl, right?
HB: (gives me the expected awkard face) yea
Me: ok good, (use a spin off of Mystery's old opener) I have a dilemma...maybe you could help me out.

I run my stripper friend story and it gets a good laugh as expected. She gives me an answer I don't remember. But I shift right away.

Me:What's your stripper name
HB: I don't strip
Me: (Smile) Let's hope not, if you were a stripper what would it be
HB: I don't know
Me: (smile) I see as a Charlotte

I want to try and turn that last bit in a cold reading routine. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

I notice a lip ring and I give the look again
Me: (point at it) Wow you are my hero...I bet your parents were pissed when you came home with that
HB: (talks about it)

Me: (total AFC question but I handle it well) So are you from here?
HB: (says some weird town)
Me: (give her my face thats like: What the hell) Where is that?
HB: (laughs) It's somewhere outside

We get off the bus. So we are walking.

HB: Where (bus #) at?
Me: (laughing at her) are you serious

She smiles at me and I give her directions
HB: so where are you going?
Me: I going the direct opposite way

I notice a writing on her ass and being the genius I am
Me: Wow that's interesting, how you have your name on your ass?
HB: (laughs) Nah that's not my name
Me: Wow so you have someone's else name on your ass, the genius
HB: no, it means hot in spanish
Me: OOO (straight face) so your ass is hot hmm
HB: (laughs)

I guide her half way to the area where to catch the right bus

Me: Right there, aight Bye (I say the name on her ass)
HB: laughs

I forget my ABC's (ALWAYS BE CLOSING). Not smart. But other than that any comments and help for the cold reading rountine

Love,

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
