"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Jeez, I really haven't been getting any success lately. So I went to the mall today and I'm walking around for hours and see few chicks that I'd actually want to approach. Then when the mall is almost closing, I walk around and see this one chick on the phone. Like most of my approaches, it was a sucky approach:
Me: Hey, I was doing a music survey and I was wondering, what music do you like.
[She ignores me]
Me: I was asking what music you liked. Personally, I see you as the kind of girl who listens to countries and loves guitars and ****.
Her: I'm definitely not that type of girl.
Her: Look, I'm on the phone.
Me: So, I've got to get back to my girlfriend pretty soon and I was wondering, do you have a number?
Her: No.
Me: Yeah, I wouldn't give you my number because I personally don't think you're that hot.
Her: Okay.
Me: See ya.
Yeah... I'm not getting laid or even going to get a number pretty soon it seems.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Ok, some constructive criticism, nah, just criticism...

Firstly, were you actually doing a music survey? To me it seems like some canned pick up line that is really bad. It's a script, you're not being real, you're not being yourself. So be genuine, give off warmth, smile. The simple thing to do is say "hi, what's your name?" ..."Hi, I'm ElStud"..."I'm looking to meet new people/I want to meet you" ..."Are you single?" ..."Cool, write down your phone number, oh, and write your email too." "Bye/See ya/TTYL"

Would you want someone to bother you while you were on the phone? Bad idea dude. Remember, don't approach from behind. And most importantly remember your posture, body language, eye contact, smiling, dress, cleanliness.

You don't have a girlfriend, you're a lying sack of crap, and then you ask them for their number and say you have a girlfriend, oh man, the logic is intact. They probably see right through your BS.

The whole approach is akward with a captial 'A'.

If what you're doing is not currently working, then try something else. No one said this was going to be easy. Yes you have the balls and courage to approach, but you can't just rush in and try to attack the problem with pure courage, you also need smarts and strategy, you need to know what you're doing.

Stop the whole music survey gig and "I bet you go home upstairs and rock out."

Good luck.

It doesn't matter, music survey stuff is just words, something to get the conversation started. And personally, I don't care if she's on the phone and I'm just limiting myself by telling myself I can't approach girls who are on the phone. It's my reality after all, I'm not worried about what she's doing. And logic has nothing to do with it, if it did women would be much easier. Same thing with the girlfriend thing, it really doesn't matter if I have a girlfriend, it's just an excuse to time constraint. If she asks about the girlfriend, I can playfully say "Woops, you figured me out, I don't have a girlfriend". If she ditches me just because of that, she's a flake.

So you're going to not heed any advice, but rationalize what you could have done better. It's a combination of stubborness, ignorance, and insecurity.

See, this is the part I love, haha...[[Yeah... I'm not getting laid or even going to get a number pretty soon it seems.]]

Ok, so be it, keep doing your little music survey gig, and when you finally do get laid, write a new thread titled "I PROVED YOU WRONG AUSSIEGOAT" and your post will probably be disregarded by the entire sosuave community.

You think you're approaching the "right" way (stubborness), but what significant results are you getting?

Wow, calm it dude. You're overreacting.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

She's most likely busy and you approached her anywhere. I seriously think you are so bad with girls, my teachers 2 yr old son can do better...

This is unbelievable. These guys are telling you what to do and I read your last two approach threads and guess wtf your doing---the same lame a$$ music opener. Your cold reads suck a$$ and thats just pathetic.

You need to learn to listen and stop using canned lines and $hit like that....

I don't know about you... but I'm not going to limit myself by not approaching chicks that are on the phone. Busy? Sure, she's busy talking to her friend about how she screwed a guy last night. Certainly wasn't a business call. And why the stress on the opener? It doesn't really even matter. You give a geek the best opener ever and he will not get the chick.

My bed, your girl.
OK listen up...
You can't approach a girl who is on the phone because she is actually doing something else and you will be interrupting her.

The ingore from her to you was a sign she had other things to do.
Horrible first impression.

Dude why you relying so much on canned material...Just be yourself. I mean when I approach girls, I just introduce myself and then playfully neg them. I don't need openers, canned lines, lame cold approaches that you use. Sorry, but you seem very ignorant and selfish, cuz you don't listen to other ppl's advice. You do your own thing and thats why ppl are getting better than you...You are not improving, you may think you are because you are approaching--but you are going nowhere...

You need to lay off everything and start over. Your confidence seems good, but you got to lay off all these canned stuff. And you keep saying this and that, its just an opener---guess what? Girls CAN READ right through fake ppl. And why would you ask for someone's number if you said you have a gf...Totally fake a$$ $hit right there!

Don't make a post trashing yourself then argue when other members try to give you EXCELLENT advice. Enough has been said and I don't want this turning into any more of a flame thread. CLOSED
