"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

have you ever looked back and said, wished i did it sooner? and what was the point where you finally said, thats it,im going to change? the reason i ask is cause as i sit here,i ask myself, how did i get to be in such a diposition? how did i allow it to happen? why didnt i change sooner?

i have been doing alot of thinking and alot of analyzing lately and have come to several realizations about life.and one of them is,well, women naturally are attracted and go for the alpa male.its a social thing.and its like,if you are not of the high status or high value, how do you get there? it seems as if everyon else has reached that, over time of course, and some of us are still struggling.its tough when it seems like everyone else has it,yet you dont.its my own fault for not trying to change sooner and just alowing things to slip bye.and its something i gotta deal with forever.
this is something thats like inherited naturally.i feel as though i have been doing everything wrong.and thats why im stuck where i am.isolated.not healthy.its like everyone else is enjoying life, yet im not.ive always felt this way.always the odd man out.even when i was a kid.i dont know why,but i do.its odd.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

So quit looking back on what you should've done, and concentrate on what you can be doing now.

It doesn't matter how you got to where you are, all that matters now is where you're going. Take in the wealth of knowledge here and APPLY it to yourself and your life instead of analyzing it...by ACTION these things will become clear to you. Alpha Male is just a description of behavioral traits- in other words, a catagory. You have a lot of growing to do as a person. Follow some of the teachings here, APPLY them and GROW. There's nowhere to go but up...otherwise you can live life in quiet desperation. I know what you're feeling but it won't go away by analyzing. You will go through a little pain- but the joy you will have once you have attained what you were seeking will be worth it. If not, misery will be your best company. No one is going to be able to motivate you, either- it must come from within yourself. Find your reason and the battle will become more and more effortless.

Have you gone through DJ bootcamp?

Also, pick up Mystery's Venusian Arts handbook and Juggler's ebook also. The latter has a money back guarantee. Both books will save you MONTHS of trial and error.

Finally, don't expect pickup to "change your life." Getting good at pickup means you get good at pickup. That's it.

The motivation to improve came in many forms for me, but generally it was this constant feeling of depression and low self-esteem. Men and women walked over me, I kept getting my heart broken and I think I reached a point close to hating myself.

Quite simply, I summed up all the things I disliked about myself and followed a course of action to change them. Namely, confidence, appearance and courage.

I changed my image, hit the gym and got on a good bulking diet, pushed myself to socialise more, and forced myself to face and conquer some of my fears. It all came together piece by piece until I could genuinely say "damn, I'm glad to be me!"

Of course I wish I'd done it sooner, but I needed to hit rock bottom before I quit whining and wallowing in self pity and found the drive to help myself.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I sorta wish I learned this stuff sooner, but it's also AFC behavior to regret the past too much. You can't chage the past, only the present and the future.

What I have learned is that my condition is in my control. That I will call the shots and I will take responsibility for my actions and what happens to myself. No one else can put me down or make me feel bad unless I let them. I'll live my life true to who I am, and good things will follow.

Well, I haven't exactly turned into a DJ, but I'm a good 200% better than I was a year or so ago.

Do I wish I'd started this sooner? Sure. But I'll admit a lot of my recent success came as a result of simply becoming an older, more confident guy. Turning 30 was the best thing that ever happened to me.

To be honest sometimes I wish that I never found this site in the first place. It causes me to overthink things way too much instead of just talking to the girl or whatever. But IMO this site is way better than that David Deangelo crap that I read.

On the other hand I'm glad that I learned not to be a woman's b**ch and to stand my ground. I used to think that the right thing to do was compliment her, tell her she's beautiful, etc. Now I know I can be more relaxed and do what I want to do. All in all I don't really think I'm any better then I was to begin with. I feel like things that I say are forced now, but some of this info is pretty useful. The funny thing is that I give my friends all this great advice from the website (which I kinda pass off as my own haha), but they're like "what gives him the right to give ME advice?" My friends are hardcore AFCs, which also makes me sort of glad that I found this site so I'm not like them (at least mentally).

That about sums me up. Hitting rock bottom isn't a thing that people saw in my case. I did whatever it was I did as always, but something was tearing me up inside. Putting the same care and effort into everything I did became really hard mentally and put a gargantuan strain on my self-esteem and confidence. Like any smart guy, I knew I had a problem. So I went in search of answers, and found here. It's made a world of difference and I ALWAYS have a genuine 'internal smile' and am positive about everything now.

I don't wish I came here sooner. I do wish that I didn't have a problem that needed to be fixed in the first place. I think socialization with girls from ages 8-15 are the most important. This is when boys learn to treat girls as what they are; girls. This way of doing things--treating girls like girls--always worked back then, and still works now. It's just some of us never had that socialization...Being from an all-boys boarding school, i never had that privilage, but i'm correcting it now! :)

thanks SS

Occasionally. I'm human after all. But I very quickly remind myself of how pointless and counterproductive it is, then go back at whatever I'm going at.

Better late than later ...

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

well, ive come to the conclusion that thats it,is that this disposition i feel like i am in is whats causing me to feel this way.and i havent found a way out.and instead of trying too,i just moped around.instead of actually trying to improve and better myself,i just got used to things being the way are.and from what i know, once your settled in to your own ways, its tough to change.well,i look to overcome that.this has been going on for too long.and up till this point, and i know this is going to be hard to get over,is alot of it feels like one big missed oppurtunity.i do concentrate on what i should be doing now,and that is being in school and moving on in life.but i cant.and ive had to essentially put my life on hold.so thats been tough.and it feels like i am going nowhere as a result.i mean, this relates to alot more than just women for me.it feels like people as a whole to an extent.ive isolated myself for a long time.part of it is also not taking advice.i havent done a bootcamp yet.ive been reading this site for a while now,and havent.have yet to apply most of what is taught on here.only i have allowed myself to feel bad.
