"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Anyone else ever deal with "for the moment" attention seekers/ interacter's. I'm not even talking about you hitting on them, or them begging to be complimented. I'm talking about like working with someone etc and always getting along, B.Sing etc. No problems ever. Then seeing them not in that same location and they ignore you completely. Like out with their friends and not at work where you'd normally see them. No running up to them, not coming off like a weirdo, literally like right in front of each other and they act like they've never known you and go out of their way almost to avoid you both saying whats up.

To clarify I'm talking about one day or days always be smiling and waving, talking effortlessly then next out with their friends no boyfriend and completely act like they don't recognize you. Then the very next day talk to you as if them acting like they never knew you were right in front of them the previous day/night. I for one don't play that. If I know someone and they always talk to me at times then others completely avoid or pretend they don't recognize me I don't even bother and act like I don't know them either.

What the fvck is wrong with people today? I guess certain people only feel comfortable knowing or interacting with people in certain situations or have some severe insecurities... Weird. LMAO.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yeah I've noticed this too. It's especially common with people from work.

A true friend from work is rare. Most put on a friendly ACT at work and maybe even during after work stuff like happy hour, but they still don't want to know you or acknowledge you when the coworkers aren't around.

Of course I'm from the "friendly" northeast so this is normal lol.

Same here! Holy sh1t. I swear to God you hit the nail on the head! I noticed that with this chick who used to work at my part time...ALWAYS gave me eye contact, smiled, waved, made conversation, normal non pick up BS. Saw her a week ago passing by in the store. She looked at me twice and turned away like she didn't know me and gave me the 'signal' of turning away not to talk to her (and I was dressed up in my suit for work so I KNOW she knew it was me). She was with another chick. It wasn't a big deal in all honesty..I'm the type if you play that crap with me I'll play it right back.

Either the chick is extremely insecure or just didn't feel like talking as she didn't work their anymore. Weird sh1t.

Meh... I hate people anyway. Doesn't bother me much. I'm usually the one ignoring them, or keeping things brief. Been getting a lot of comments about this vibe since moving down here... Especially from women.

But its not a case of ignoring them when other people are around. Just ignoring them, period. Ha ha. Was always a loner type.

By the way, it's as you describe in the Midwest, too. I'm thinking the entire north + Cali is full of ****offs with no class, manners, or respect. They act friendly in private - then avoid you in public, when people they deem "better" are around. They only hang out with those in their core group, and don't give a **** about anyone else. Think they're too good for them. Etc. I was part of these groups before. Backstabbers and fake people ahoy.
