"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

For the first time Ever, there are more single people than married people in US

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I love how this article tries to subtly blame men for this. Take note: the photo is of white, caucasian men whom are typically the segment of society in the US who are most often blamed for...well...everything. Next the article also says that this is responsible for some kind of new income inequality. Inequal to whom? Women? Gays? Black people? Dogs? Monkeys? It attempts to state that married families as a whole have more, but having children is a great expense and so I guess they now have to blame single men for this?

The article does nothing to address the real issues as to why people are single today:

court systems which enslave men for a significant portion of their life due to child support or divorce;

feminism which has penetrated just about every aspect of our lives trying to give women every reason possible to f*ck around with whomever they want, whenever they want and to always blame men for it;

people of significantly lesser quality overall being put in high positions of authority in our government and subsequently ruining enormous parts of our great country, specifically our economy, thereby reducing what men are able to provide for themselves and a prospective family. Due to the 'well running a little more dry', men choose to not shoulder that responsibility and only worry about themselves now.

Just an overall excellent post. Nail on head.

Every single trend is bad. Smart people are hoarding their money, becoming more selfish and not reproducing, while the dregs of society are spitting out 10 kids a piece, most of whom have no intention of parenting the offspring. Those are sure to become one of the feral packs that are roaming the city streets nowadays so commonly. I can only hope that the influx of immigrants keep their family values at least for a few generations. At the end of the day the country becomes more and more stupid, one generation at a time. Whites and blacks have destroyed their family institutions through liberal policies such as handouts and feminism.
