"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Try this...

Make a list of the 10 best moments over the last 2 years in your personal life.

the Ten moments you felt the greatest..

You will be suprised.

As for me, I decieded to do it, and I found out that every few had to do with women.

I think 2 out of ten.

More times than not, it was a great time that my friends and I had, or something we got into that was too funny, or just a night we had a blast.

Just something to chew on...

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

1) (Getting the girl out of the way) Yeah... Her.
2) Graduating. Especially the all-night party we had after where I got to see all my friends one last time.
3) Getting the weightlifting basketball players together one last time and playing one last game. Especially sense we never saw each other again.
4) Stepping on the scale and seeing the numbers "164". I used to weigh 210 lbs.
5) The party's (minus one)
6) My friend, Charles. I miss that guy.
7) The make out sessions and one night stands. :)
8) Getting my permit (I honestly thought I was going to fail the test. Especially sense I got the first 4 questions wrong). I procrastinated it so long but it was on top of the list's of my goals. It felt great to finish one of my goals for once.
9) The original insomniac club. But mostly, my friend Justin.
10) Handgela and Damn ***** Productions. A comedy website my friend Steve and I made. Along with it's complimentary websites. HandDBP: Punk'd Online (IM Pranks) and HandDBP: The Challenge.

... That **** was hard. Don't make me do it again. :)
