"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Guys,
Ok, this is blindingly obvious but it somehow never clicked in a big way for me before.

Now, I know having lots of friends and particularly female friends is a good way to just meet more people, the more female friends you know, the more friends of theirs etc...

Ok, I'm just watching this show on TV with loads of hot girls and like any guy i'm sitting there thinking, wow, I'd love a girl like that but 1. where'd you find a girl like that and 2. am i good enough to get her yet.

Then I think... hell, these girls aren't ALIENS... they ahve to fvck SOMEONE, they have to be attracted to guys in their own right. Why the heel couldn't it be ME? They have to be with someone in the end!

But I'm thinking, I complain about my lack of a large "social circle". But then again, look at what I do. I go to college doing a computing degree. Only a hand full of females in the course, none that you'd have much interest in.
Now I'm working for the summer, doing an intership in an office... and I'm thinking, hey... in a building of like 300-400 people, I've seen like 4 HB's there in total... its mostly men in this kinda job and the women that are there mostly older women, and tend to dress down.

Ok, I'm thinking... WHAT AM I DOING? Its like I'm hiding from the HB's!

Where ARE these HB's. I mean, what kinda professions to girls get into, I mean, I know theres tons of HB's in our town when I go out at the weekends, but they don't work in my dull dreary office... they don't do my apparently nerdy college course.

I KNOW i need to turn this around. Where do I start?
I really want to change things around. Where are good places to "be around" more girls/people my age.

I'm thinking college is a good place, but my course is the wrong place to be.
Work is currently a bad place to meet them... wheres a good place to work to meet HB's?
I'm also thinking of joining a club like a sports or interest club, thats what everyone joins in colleges around here... but I alwyas just join the "male sports" type of clubs... how should I change my thinking.

One you are "around" more HB's... they like anyone you are around become your social circle... i just realised how I've been limiting myself so much.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Get yourself a compass, binoculars and pet falcon.

You'll find 'em in no time.

Otherwise, join a yoga club. An art or dancing class.
If that's too gay for you. Just remember this: not too hot girls, are people too. And sometimes really fun people. If anything, they usually have a few hot friends. :)

The thing about expanding about social circles is befriending EVERYONE! :p
Oh... join a gang. Lots of prospects there, too.

Thanks for the smart ass reply.

And thanks for missing the point!

What Im saying is... I work with middle-aged men and older married women (I'm 21).
My college coruse is all guys, computery guys so not much socialising.

I'm just saying, I KNOW I could improve my social situation, I don't mean I will only talk to "hot" people.
Just asking for ideas on wheres are good places to start?

If you have to ask then your never gonna know..... psych.. restaurants clubs, gyms...you name it.

We all know that women are attacted to guys that are *GASP* physically active! Heavens no! Hell yeah!

Chicks are already bored with their personal lives ( or dont think they have enough dunno 'zest' in there life..) So why would they add to boredom by working in some cubical with all you can hear is clacking keys

Why would hot babes work in some boring computer office with most likely hardly any eyecandy for them and in a frigid work environment when they could get paid to just sit there and look sexy working as a hostess and seeing hot guys who dont just sit there in a chair all day.

Yeah you gotta do what you gotta do ...

Join a gym....take dance lessons....use your imagination.
make that paper and all... also its about your passionate about in life. If you like computing then stay with it but pick up some hobbies like swimming ( I highly recommend it )
