After getting dumped about a month ago, I was feeling sort of down about my life. I decided to download some Anthony Robbins tracks from Kazaa, and now I listen to them every night while I am falling asleep.
I don't adhere to everything the guy says, but I feel that this 1/2 hr or so of thinking about my goals and what he says before I go to bed were key in getting me out of my down mood. I have been going to the gym again and am in general a hell of a lot more motivated in my work and social life.
I don't want to turn this into a pro/con Robbins thread. I just think that this is a good way to keep these goals in my mind for me, and thought I'd share it. Try it for a month and see what happens...
Sometimes I'm not really even listening to him carefully, but something he says will make me think of a way to improve or strategy for doing so.
I recommend the "Get the edge" tracks. They're more about general self-improvement than women, which after all is the best way to feel better about yourself and attract people in general as your friends.
When you feel better about yourself, you attract people more and don't have that desperate need for a GF that drives so many (including me at times) to make poor decisions, or write posts about petty details that don't really matter. When you are happy enough with yourself, you simply feel you have nothing to lose by asking the chick out.
