"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Hi

Long story short, I've been broking up with this girl for over 5 years but we have the same friends so still see each other from time to time.

We (mostly me as she did some effort) have been ignoring each other (as in not not speaking to each other, not acknowledging each others presence,...) for over 2 years now. Today I found out things had been planned behind my back, i.e. a dinner and some activity afterwards (I give her the opportunity of the doubt as it has been planned by someone else but this would lead me to far). Now I don't know what to think of it, am I still running through her mind and is she just ignoring me to get some attention?

I must admit, I just send an email to my friends to ask for something to do in a few weeks and I was doubting to include her to the people who I wanted to send it to. In the end I did it, just because I wanted to be the better man (although this sounds contradictory because I was doubting it).

I just want an explanation of why she did it. And yes it's really AFC because I still care after 5 years, but I want to know. I don't want to lose opportunities with my real friends because I'm ignoring her and she's planning other stuff with them... Before she would include me, but as I said, the last few years I'm just trying to ban her out of my life, but if it leads to this consequences...

Thanks

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If you really want to know how she feels about you, why don't you ask her yourself? That way, if she rejects you, you will learn faster to forget about her.

I'm too stubborn to do it. I think if I would ask she would think I'm still not over her and it would make her feel good and I don't want to give her that pleasure.

Now why do you care? You care because if you give her that pleasure, she will get over you easier. In the end, you care so much to pretend not to care.

You should just get over yourself. Also get some other girls.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I know, but it's so hard. She hurted me so hard, and I don't know what to think of it (as afterwards we acted normal for a short period.).

I just want revenge, I want to hurt her as bad as she hurted me....

You're kidding right?

So you want to ignore each other... unless there's a party invitation going round?

If someone went out of their way to ignore me, I'd be deleting phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, the lot.
