I'm going to ask since I'm not sure,has anyone you know gotten a nice white collar job without a degree....based on accomplishments?

Dad's mates a quantity surveyor with no degree. Earning £80,000 a year without bonuses. Plus, company pays for his petrol and he gets a company Merc. Not bad.
