So she called me yesterday, talked for about 10 minutes. Could use your help with this one brothers. Very tempting to slip into it.

Word on the street is she heard about me going out w/ another girl through a "friend." She offered to cook me some food, I said I wasn't that interested so she said she would drop it off at my job. Sure enough, came to work today and there was a note with a bunch of food inside a bag.

2) End the conversation
3) Wait four days (Day 4)
4) Then reply
5) Wait another four days, reply (Day 8)
6) Wait ANOTHER four days, and ask her out. (Day 12)

In other words, ask her out again, in about two weeks, but stretch the conversation that long.

Move on. She is contacting you out of jealousy and spite, not a reason to make amends and making it work.

She will peel you away from the chick you're currently talking to and then bounce on you again. At that point you'll be starting all over in terms of getting over her.

Don't give her control of your emotions. Very few guys can let an ex come back as a plate and hold frame. Not worth it.

This is assuming she dumped you.

When she texts you, simply say "thanks for the food but I'm not sure this is a good idea" and then ghost her.
