"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

It doesn't seem like you are hearing us. Friends is NOT ok. Repeat NOT ok. What you can and should do is treat her like any other person you come in incidental contact with. Be polite, be cordial, and interact with at the bare minimum. You are heretolearn. If so then follow our advice. :)

Thanks, I am learning and applying what you guys are saying. I consider friend in this instance to be polite, cordial and minimum contact :)

Not friends for me would be 0 contact/interaction.

Stupidity would be anything beyond politeness and minimum contact lol

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

FRIEND: "one attached to another by affection or esteem. A favored companion"

Friends have meals together, do activities together, socialize with each other, share their lives.

So you really mean, not being "friends", but being "civil" with each other.

When a girl says, "let's be friends", it's not like she's actually expecting you to show up at her sleepover party Saturday night.

Being civil means you'll be nicely mannered, cordial and graceful. If you come across her you'll smile and say "Hi! How are you?" and 30 seconds later you'll say, "Great to see you. I have things to do, so, see you around!" and leave and you will never discuss anything of any other nature with her ever again, nor will you share anything about your life and what you're doing, as it's not her business.

This will also empower you because it puts you in control of yourself and your circumstances. You do not permit people who betray you to be your "friends". Love yourself more then that. If you don't, no one else will.
