Bad timing from the author on this one. Intel was just taken out of the Dow and replaced with Nividia. Over the next couple of days, the amount of Intel stock that’s going to get dumped by Dow index funds is going to give it a lot of pressure. That said, the Dow has an uncanny habit of adding stocks to its index at the top of their growth phases (which makes sense given how the Dow is marketed and its mandate). With a cleaner balance sheet and a better entry point in the coming weeks, Intel could be very interesting.
