been with this girl for 7 months and decided things aren't working out so gonna break up with her this weekend.

the only problem is ill still see her around atleast 1nce or twice a week unavoidably so i want it to end on good terms

how should i go about ending this? tell her the truth as to why its not working out? give some bs cliche line? whats my best option here? thanks

reasons for breaking up with her if it even matters:
-not as affectionate as she used to be
-not as sexual as she used to be
-used to feel really happy and have fun when around her, now no matter what were doing i just feel bored around her
-dont feel happy with her anymore and ready to move on.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Notice that your reasons place all the blame on her. That's only going to piss her off.

Try "I don't think this relationship is working out. Let's just be friends. I still like you as a person."

If she presses you for more specifics, don't give them to her, especially the things you listed above. Just say that you don't feel the same spark. That's all she needs to know.
