Last night my two pals Rob and Todd and I were out enjoying dinner and cigars in Channelside and the topic of seduction/dating came up (as usual). We were having a great conversation when through the door strolls, I swear to Christ, the closest Mystery clone I've ever seen. My buddies aren't familiar with who Mystery is or what he looks like but I immediately stopped dead in our conversation and was eyeballing this fool. He had the whole peacock gimmick going. The black fingernails, the big dumb hat, the platform shoes (I was looking for the aquarium platforms but to my dismay he wasn't that brave). This tool walks in with his wingman and, like a hawk, began to survey the crowd. He had all of the mechanics of the MM down pat and then made his move on these two cuties sitting 3 tables away from us. I asked my pals to watch this guy and see him crash and burn. I could not believe it when he vomited up the "Hey guys let me ask your opinion" opener. It was straight outta the book. The girls both knew he was full of sh!t and told him to fvck off ( not really, but that's the gist of it). I was totally shocked when he told the them what rude b!tches they both were and not cool enough for him to waste time on. In essence he pouted like a little girl and ran off. That's it he gave up, pouted and skeetered off to another set of victims.
It occured to me that rejection is what guys are deathly afraid of, but why? When I first began to become congruent as a man and sarge women I was never afraid of the b!tch shield or sh!t tests. What I've always held is the firm belief that if she turns me down she has saved me time, effort, and money. I see it as a learning experience. Why not use that as an empowering decision? A decision to let her know her world doesn't matter to me at all. As a matter of fact, I make it a point to let her know how much I appreciate her being so forthright and saving my time and wallet. Never ,ever pout or feel rejected. Keep the power and realize that every time we approach it's a learning experience. Whether she bites the hook or not isn't the point. The point is YOU APPROACHED WITHOUT FEAR OR ANXIETY! It's a decision you made to be proactive with your life.
