You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

FWIW I have been to Croatia, France, Italy, Estonia, Norway and Belgium (best beer EVER) and as amazing as those travels were I still prefer America. It takes a man with large balls to live here. Though I could see how a lot of lesser men seek opportunities abroad, where women are more submissive and pose less of a challenge. Whatever floats your boat mate - I don't think you are dumb - just ignorant and a tad insecure with these constant assertions of your lifestyle choices.
