"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I just went out with a girl last night. It wasnt a really good date, but it wasn't really bad either. The girl showed interest at some parts, but didn't show much interest at other parts. So basically, I have no idea if it was good or bad for her.

I hate those dates that you can't tell if the girl was really into you or not, we did end up kissing and all that. I'm more of a relationship guy, so I usually look for girls that seem like they would be capable of a relationship. At one point during the date, we went through the whole "Getting to know each other" questions. She asked me, "What's something you absolutely hate that a girl might do?"

I said, "I hate it when a girl shows interest when she really isn't, and then I keep trying for her like a total dumbass." She laughed and then I said "I would rather have a girl just tell me she's not interested so I know not to try for her anymore. Then she says "I don't think you have anything to worry about."

So I guess thats a good sign, but then towards the end of the date when I was driving her home, I thought we were going to chill at her house for a bit, but she just said she's really tired and wants to go to sleep. I may be overanalyzing but I took it as a sign of disinterest. What do you guys think?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

lol you fvcked it up.

You gotta remember not to talk about this stuff.. I mean they want to have conversations yeah.. but not about that. It's gay I know but even though they say they want deep conversations and may want it so much too, if you do.. they begin to see the real you and can easily just turn to some other guy as their fantasy guy or whatever.. I know it's stupid.

And uh.. yeah her saying you have nothing to worry about, as in.. "your not going to have me anyway."

That was a bad sign, better luck next time.

I'd wait it out to see if she calls you again.. she may.. so just wait for it.

^^ This is just my opinion though.. get others too.

Well I guess I didn't give enough details about my date. It's kind of hard to explain, but even though we had deeper conversation, I still kept a light tone in my voice and stuff when I told her a little about me. And also, after I told her about what I hate most about a girl, we we're just kinda lookin each other in the eye, then we went for a kiss, ended up making out a little, and after that, she said "You have nothing to worry about" she said this in a flirty way so that's why I took it as a major sign of interest. We continued the date like this throughout the night, and then at the end of the date when it turned out like that I was left confused. Thanks for the opinion though.

PS. This may sound AFC because I care how the girl feels about me, but I really don't care anymore about all this AFC and DJ crap. I'm happy with my life and I have no problem getting girls. I find nothing wrong with actually liking a girl and WANTING her to like me back. All this being a DJ all the time doesn't feel natural to me, I seriously was just being myself and enjoying myself. In a way I may be AFC because I like to be nice to girls, but in another way I may be a DJ because I am nice while still being a man and leading. This is my way of doing things, and instead of changing and trying to be somebody else, I just want to be me. My date last night actually went better than most of my dates when I was just trying to be a DJ. I don't care if I'm too nice at times. I don't care if I get upset when a girl I like doesn't like me back. In my opinion this makes me a true DJ, because I live my life, I don't hide my emotions, I'm me and I love it.

I just wanted to get that out there because I realize some of you may flame me and tell me to next her. But I just want opinions from those of you who are in the same boat as me. Not the ones who try too hard to be a DJ, some of it seems so fake.

I think you may have a misconception of what exactly a DJ is. I won’t go into that now.

There is nothing wrong with wanting people to like you. However, you cannot have your behavior linked to that alone (that is a quality of an AFC). It should be connected to what you want.

I really can’t say much more since you have not given me enough information, but I must say that unless she is your girlfriend and after a good (3-5+) dates you should not have an overly serious conversation (which it sounds like you did).

If you post more information I will be glad to talk some more here or through PM.

Ciao
