I am trying to understand this. It seems that he wants to walk around with a gunshot wound to prove how "tough" he is - to mimic him getting shot by someone.

Wow, it was deleted - probably because it was a video of a very dangerous event. Basically, the guy is wearing a bulletproof vest and wants to get a bruise from that, so his friend shoots him and gives him that bruise.
