I was thinking that the fear of child support is causing a lot of Chad-tier men to say no to harems, with the this causing so many women to complain about how men are no longer trying to pick up on them. In a way, child support seems to have, in essence, brought back monogamous sensibilities into the culture. Of course, there is still the problem of women being too picky.

I disagree with this assessment.

There are multiple reliable birth control methods that exist. Any man (Chad-tier or not) can use a condom during sex. According to Rollo Tomassi, this is a good idea.

Many women do use a birth control method. In my experiences in the mating environment in the USA, younger White women with bachelor's degrees or higher are likely to be birth control users. The majority of my interactions have been with these bougie White women.

It's possible that some men are interacting with women not on birth control and they aren't using condoms either.

Many men do what they can to reduce the probability of pregnancy and possible child support.
