"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Hey guys.. I sort of feel like a bum!

I was at the gym today and I felt sort of stupid when I couldn't really think of what to say to a cute girl. I tried not to overanalyze anything, however I couldn't manage to open my mouth to say something relevant to the scene/situation.

Most girls in my gym do either cardio or light weight lifting, unless they're one of the built women who are lifting 2x more than the average work-out male...which is pretty cool actually lol:D

So yeah. Most girls do cardio or light weights and at most times I really can't bring myself to say something relevant about their workout stuff. I wanted to open up the conversation using something like:

"Hey you look like a good cardio person. Could I ask you something?" and run with it from there, asking about my questions regarding cardio, her workout stuff, how often she goes to the gym, and fit some ****y funny and kino along the way. I'd then try to build rapport by asking her reasons for working out, and stuff.

I don't mean to be AFC, but I am still learning, so a critique would be a lot more helpful to me than a criticism.

What would be some good can-openers for my gym environment?
Does every convo initiation have to be relevant to the current situation/event/environment?

Thanks.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Two things you might want to think about.

1. Are thinking that every time you see a woman that you have to go up and approach her and play DJ 24/7? If so why does it have to be that way and is it fun to do it that way?

2. Why haven't you tried just to say hi and why are you limiting yourself to conversations about working out?

When I go to the gym, and I notice (key word) someone I would like to talk to, I introduce myself. When you do this, there are a couple of options for her to do:

1.) completely ignore you (not worth your time anyway)
2.) introduce themselves, and get back to working out (which is what you should be doing anyway)
3.) introduce themselves, and carry on a convo from there (why you are doing this in a gym, I have no idea)
4.) introduce themselves and leave with you (only if you are both through with your workout, and you have established some kind of attraction)

Second thought:

Join an excercise class. I didn't really want to at first, but I did it just to try it out--and I love it. Not only is it a lot of fun, you get to listen to the girls talk, and learn about the female gender. It's kind of cool, because as you're there more and more, they'll open up to you. Granted, this is not a site for dating, but the more you can learn, the better off you are.
