"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Problem:
-I like both girls equally for different reasons, with perhaps slight edge to one on right because personality more compatible, but the other one also seems sweet but dresses better and has a smoother face, no pimples
-I sit next to both of them and therefore can’t ask one out without the possibility that the other one will notice and become discouraged/offended. The casual dating concept not appreciated here.
-One girl is in my group for the class, causing great offense if I have already dropped signals to her and then ask the other one out.
-I know I’m not marr. either one. Also, I’m leaving the state at the end of the term-wouldn’t be a long term thing.
-Have dropped signals to both- there is great opportunity for offense on both sides.
-Why not show interest to both? Girl on right seems more tolerant of this than girl on left.
-Why not ask out one on right privately? Through email? Or find her in the computer lab.
The trouble is that by trying to get both, you’ll wind up with neither

If I date one, it will be obvious to the other girl in class and will hurt their feelings- unless I do it at the end of the semester...at which point there is little time left.

-If I go out with girl on left and it doesn't work out, it could get uncomfortable working with her on the group project and everything.

-But if I don't ask her out, it could be equally uncomfortable.

-Both girls have shown interest.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

You don't have to "ask them out".
Just be cool bro, could you not try and get to know them both a bit more individually?
Like just grab one when she's on her own and say, "Hey Britney, I'm trying the new mocha thingy in Starbucks, join me" and just do the same/similar thing with the other girl?
As long as you are cool about it, then it's not like you are "dating" them both, you're just hanging out with someone you want to know better.

I suppose your other options are to actually ask one of them out, but then you have to stand by your decision, because unless she's a ho, if it break's down with girl 1., girl.2 isn't likely to do anything with you.

But at the end of the day, you are the prize here, you are under no pressure to make a decision, just carry on doing what you're doing and being a cool guy and these girls and others will dig you. Play it by ear and see what happens.

JS gave some great advice above.

Really, the key here is "short term." It makes things much simpler, because other than getting someone pregnant, you get to hit the reset button in a couple of months and be on your way.

So which girl seems more compatible and down with the things you like? Which one is more fun to be with? Which one will buy you things? :D

Seriously, go with what your gut is telling you. It might seem like a tie between the two, but I'll bet your gut is hinting one over the other.
