"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

When you act desperate with a girl you automatically categorize yourself as an AFC. You look less attractive. If you look at it in another way it might be different. What if you were going out with a girl for more than 1/2 a year and then she starts professing her love to you, thus acting desperate. Theoretically this should make you less attracted to her. BUT, for what reason does a person act desperate? Because they really care aboout someone, or they really want to be with that person. SINCE you know the reason why someone would be desperate, then would you really be less attracted to this person OR would you be happy that someone feels that they can't be without you?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

I'd too like to know how they determine what is desperation and what is controlled boldness? (It's related to my recent events.)

Well, it depends. If I really like the girl..like i do as my current GF..i'd love it. But usually the hot, great girls don't do this..and it's the more medicore type of girls (relative to what type of girls you normally get with) who may profess there love to you.

I'd say that desperate is more the state of mind.

It comes from putting too much importance on outcomes. Rather than enjoying the process, they are too concerned with getting things right, not screwing up.

That creates desperation.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

professing love has nothign to do with Desperate.

People break up not because you are too caring, or too loving, or too kind. People break up because you're too needy, too clingy or too controlling. Of course you've got to apply that to her also

IMO ...

Desperation : need :: desire : want

If she can handle not being around you, if she has other things and other people to fill her time with, if, when you're around, she enjoys your presence rather than complaining about your absence, then she's not desperate.

The same applies to you as well; women are a luxury, something you want and will work for, but still something you can effortlessly do without.
