I dont know much about DeAngelo as a person and I dont have a problem with his observations BUT, he is observing the natural. If you are a bit thick, ugly, fat and have no real interest to speak of, you WILL NOT become a DJ. Read all you like, it wont work. Many, many, many of you guys are simply too needy, too desperate and simply will praise the first chick who gives you, what you have built up as EVERYTHING. You will not have the upper hand, ever, and you will live lives of quiet desperation. Its not a problem, its most people, its probably your parents.

Looks DO matter, dress DOES matter, IQ DOES matter, money DOES matter. DeAngelo is telling you the truth but you need to pitch at your audience. If you are thick, a fashion victim and generally seeking that elusive LTR, DeAngelo may be able to help you ever so slightly.

You can do a stac of stuff to improve yourself, but number one thing is, dont be fukcing desperate. If you are an introverted geek, simply dont force c&f and kino etc, it will backfire.

Focus on the "improve yourself" aspect.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

So what's your problem with DeAngelo?, he doesn't say you shouldn't try and improve all those things.

Also there are plenty of fat, ugly DJ's out there and you really would have to be thick not to be able to implement the material or have a sensible convo with most females.

I think you'd have to go on real extremes to prove otherwise.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

SURE

Have you read this board Alpine? You really believe you can give a personality transplant do you? I think I was fair to DeAngelo, didn't bad mouth him, but if you are an I.T. geek who is introverted and have no general interest to speak of, c&f and kino will simply be embarrasing. I told them to focus on the "self" aspect. Why are you so defensive? What nerve did I touch?

Mate, I have no beef with you but really, Its simply taking things from a different perspective. I always say, and I mean, ALWAYS say, focus purely on the self attitude. Dont come in here asking how to bloody speak to someone, or dont nervously touch some chick whilst boring her senseless with your lack of basic charm. Work on improving yourself, for yourself. Sure, read DeAngelo, drop $200 for all I care, but 80% of it is observation of natural DJ's. Would you suggest a weakling read up on boxing and pick a fight wit Tyson?

Women are everywhere, every day, and i shudder to think of 20 year old dweebs tring to PLAY them, laying dumbass power trips on chicks who wouldnt care if they died tomorrow. Play it cool, play it for YOU, let the mountain come to you.

So, NO, Im not bad mouthing DeAngelo, just trying to put it in context for the 80% of guys who will suffer utter humiliation if they try some of that shyte without having a true understanding of it. ALL desperately searching for an LTR so they can carve out a life of regret, service and duty to someone they simply settled for.

Okay??

I have a slightly different opinion to you, that's all. Are you saying I can't voice that opinion?

Personality Transplant?
Personality is forged over years. It is a dynamic concept therefore malleable and succeptable to external forces. Embrace these external forces (this board?) and your personality will adapt.

Personality transplant no - Personality transfusion yes

I have DeAngelo's stuff and like it, and overall I agree with what you are saying Sart, but clearly you haven't heard the $200 CD series because a huge part of it is dedicated to working on the "inner game." It is not all about techniques, and certainly not about techniques that only work for "naturals."

Also I do not believe in the concept of someone who was born a natural, I think they were all made, it is just a matter of at what time the critical beliefs were formed that are needed for having the right attitude. If it happened in childhood then the guy is what you would normally call a natural, but even a man who gains the right beliefs later in life can be perceived as a natural to all but those who knew him in his "previous life."

But I think a better argument that is in line with your post would be that techniques alone (whether they are from DeAngelo or this site) will not bring about true, long lasting success. They are the lazy man's way, and if you don't work on having a balanced change that involves getting in good shape, putting your best foot forward physically, and getting the right inner beliefs, true success will not come.

This is 1 of the best posts I've seen on here.

Sart thank you for bringing this up. We get way too caught up on theory on this board, and forget that actually approaching girls, and talking to them etc.. is really the best way to do it

Knowing the path, and walking the path are very different.

BUMP!

basically we must look out how we are free?

are we genuinly free? or is everything pre-determined and a case of causality? of perhpas it in soft determinism is the case.

well if we are truly free.... then of course there is the obstructions of the observable universe in which we live in. So there are these restrictions but what about freedom of the mind?

well i know this seems irrelevant so i will get to the point.

if you consider yourself free in the sense of freedom of the mind, then at any given moment you can CHOOSE how you feel. There could be a nuclear war occuring but you could be gonzo with joy.

If you view this as a possibility, well then any indivicual can become a don juan simply on they learn they can creat a state of confidence and bliss all the time. Therefore anyone can creat the don juan mindstate. And that is the most attractive thing to woman...... far over looks and money. If you say what about power? well this is a kind of power. It is strongest power you could possibly have above anything else in the world. Why? because YOUR are in full control, nothing can stop you and your emotions will not blind you. You are confident and will bring up everyone around you......including woman of course. And with this mindstate other power will follow.

If you believe that we are not totally free, then you could rule in the possiblity of controlling one's emotions to at least a certain extent to where we can be happy most of the time.

if you believe we are not free, then causality rules. Everything has been pre-determined and nothing can be changed since we have a total lack of freedom due to the universe's progression. That mean fate rules all and nothing you can do to stop it.

if you believe in that possibility......you shut out a lot of oppurtunities.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

my arguement for soft determinism:

On looking at whether we are free, several considerations must be met. According to the philosophy of Sarte, every man is always free. The only subject they cannot be free from is the notion of freedom itself. Sarte’s ideas from the excerpts of Being and Nothingness indicate that a human being has the freedom to control their psychological states no matter what current event is occurring in the physical world. A human is free to choose what they feel whenever they feel.
While Sarte’s in-deterministic view has some valid concepts, there are still some flaws that exist in his discussion. This is simply because human beings are not completely free. It seems appropriate to take a “soft-deterministic” view instead. A few of Sarte’s ideas, however still do apply.
In order to see why Sarte’s view is problematic, we need to first give a definition of freedom. Complete freedom is act or feel a certain way at any time with no restrictions or obligations in the way to influence choice. To act completely free is to be free from any obstacles in one’s path. In reality, there are many obstacles. While Sarte disregards obstacles in the physical universe, there are, however, obstacles in one’s own mind. While it certainly is possible to have almost complete control to choose one’s own emotions at any given time, it is not possible to have total domination over the emotional states a person experiences. In order to control a person’s conscious states, he ore she must have one hundred percent control over them. The problem with mastering one’s own states is the fact that other emotional states can get in the way. An example of this is when an athlete has accomplished a great feat in a major sport. He as worked extremely hard and becomes over confident and even perhaps rude to his competitors. His ego as been boasted to an enormous level. As a result, these emotions lead him to loose the next tournament because he thought he was far superior then everyone else. If one were to have complete control then why wouldn’t everyone be joyful and content all the time? The problem is other emotions cloud a human beings mind. This is simply because emotions are part of what makes consciousness. Existing without emotions would deny a very important attribute that makes a human being. Even if a person does not know others have emotions, he or she can certainly see through the introspection of his or her own mind and see that they do exist. Therefore, conscious thinking is not possible without some kind of emotion. The level of emotions differs but it at least makes a minor influence even if it is very insignificant.
To also give in to any emotional state at any time without obstacles is to reject any notion of morality. If one could simply change his or her emotional states then that means they would have not sense of morality. Suppose a person witness’s a brutal murder of an infant. If the person has no morality, he or she can have the same emotional state he or she had prior to this event. The fact is morality is another obstacle in the conscious. Morality is party of the personality much like emotions. They work with emotions and can influence a person’s state. The most likely state of the person in the situation above would be of drastic misery and anger. This is because their morality has caused them to trigger certain emotional feelings thus creating an obstacle to free will.
Although we have some kind of freedom to choose, it is restricted, as causality does exist in the physical world. By looking at David Hume we can see that there are two views of causality. One is the fact that we never know a causal claim to be true given the inadequacy of inductive arguments. The other definition Hume provides for causality is that it is purely a subjective notion in the mind. Even if it is reduced to being a subjective notion, the perceiver will still perceive causality. Since they perceive some sort of connection in the physical world, there is an impact upon the conscious. Weather causality is a real physical occurrence or if it is just simply a subjective notion, the consciousness solely judges the impact and can therefore affect the individual’s states. Since causality affects the individual’s states, it can be seen as another obstacle in the human mind bringing them a step further from complete freedom. To be totally free is to be free from any obstacle or influential entity that contributes to the decision one undertakes.
Those who oppose Sarte are considered to have “bad faith” are both the liars and the deceived in the same body. A problem arises in the idea of complete freedom. While a person is certainly free to lie to others and himself/herself, he or she are not free when they are deceived. Self-deception is a form of manipulation. If one is to lie to his or herself, they may perhaps not know they are in fact lying. If this is such a case, he or she is not completely aware of their conscious states. This could then in fact affect the emotional states since they do not have complete control on their own mind. Self-deception can be seen as a vicious circle. If one were to continue to lie to his or herself, then the liar would be lied to. This could have a drastic negative effect since the lies and errors would cloud the mind so great that the individual could not tell from what is real and what is false. It is therefore a great obstacle in the conscious. There is no way a person could be completely free if they had this cloud of lies existing in their mind.
Another obstacle could exist if one does not know they are free. In order to be completely free, the person must be aware he ore she is in face free. If he or she does not know they are free then they pull a great illusion over his or her mind. This would create some kind of barrier preventing a person to act out his or her own free will. He or she does not know they are free and thus do not act free. Essentially if you are completely free but are unaware, then you are not really free. Psychological evidence has suggested that newly born infants do not quite understand he or she is a separate entity from the mother. If they do not even know they exist as an individual, how can they act in their own free will? Another example could be people who were brought up to feel certain way at a certain time. Many men and woman that have been taught at a younger age to behave in school could be such a case. After years of discipline they become less serious and spontaneous because they perhaps don’t know they can feel another way. Perhaps there might be emotions in all of us that we do not yet know about because we have not had the proper experience.

It is obvious there are restrictions in the physical universe. One cannot physically teleport his or her mind and body across the universe because he or she wishes to do so. There are great obstacles in the physical universe, just as there are in the psychological universe. Gravity keeps every human being on this Earth. Without technology we cannot simply fly like a bird. A man bound in chains must use the resources given to him to escape the chains. If he is bound too tight and has no key, he cannot escape. Since all these restrictions exist in the physical and psychological universe, it is obvious that no man, woman or other conscious being is completely free. Given the context of a situation, we are free to choose the situation.
Now those who argue for determinism may argue there is only one choice. For example, a man holds a gun to a woman’s head and tells her to give him her purse. Behold she gives the man her purse. The skeptics would argue she has no choice. This is a great misunderstanding. While the gun has an immense influence on her, she still chooses to give the man her purse. The gun presented a psychological implication of fear on her mind. This would be related to the subjective notion of causality. The causal connect that is seen by the woman is if she disobeys the man, he shoots his gun, killing her. However, the woman could have chosen to fight the man even if it meant certain death. There are a number of cases heard on the where such a situation has happened. The victim decides to fight off the aggressor. The victim in this case, might have seen a slightly different notion of causality. By obeying the assailant, he or she uses you and then decides to shoot you anyway. Fighting the assailant might lead to overpowering him or her.
While the psychological implications of causality make you not completely free, there is still the freedom of choice within the real of the physical universe. A useful analogy to be thought of is the fork in the road. One can choose which path to take, but he or she must stay on a path.
Sarte believes there is no Freudian unconscious. The problem with believing that there is no unconscious causes an implication. If there is only a conscious state, then this does not explain the type of scenarios when a person decides to feel happy but ends up feeling frustrated and angry. He or she does not perhaps know exactly why they are angry or frustrated. Another similar situation is when an individual feels extremely depressed and cant figure out why. This is simply because he or she cannot introspect the entire mind. Some thought or idea has been repressed from the conscious mind. In order for this to occur there must be a subconscious mind that cannot be fully seen through introspection. This can account for current mental states of an individual when he or she does not know why they feel a certain way. It is definitely one of the reasons why we are not free. Even if one was to somehow overcome his or her conscious emotional states they, cannot possibly overcome the unconscious states he or she does not know. This is of course due to the Freudian idea of repression.
The idea of the unconscious and repression can be also applied to “bad faith”. If one were to be lying to his or herself, this means they are being deceived. If a person were deceiving his or her own mind, he or she would obviously know about it if they could fully introspect the mind. The fact that he or she is deceiving his or her mind is proof enough that they don’t know they are committing bad faith. If they don’t know they are committing it, then they obviously are not completely aware of the entire mind. In other words, in order for bad faith to exist their must be an unconscious level of the mind
If one were to take the view that there are two different people in the same body, this would be absurd. Such evidence from the likes for Freud indicates the opposite. Phenomenon such as Paraplaxies and Freudian slips indicate both consciousnesses are bound together in some kind of way. Even if there were two consciousnesses in every human being it could be said as one. Every mind would be made up of two different personalities that interact with each other. Essentially it would take these two personalities to create one.
Sarte has also brought up a theory that there is ”God like” magic in every single human being. Each being performs a little bit of this magic for every action he or she makes. This magic is essentially what enables every human being to be completely free. Even though human beings are not free in the sense of no obstacles in the way, this magic action could still be applicable. Since causality exists, one could say that even a human being’s thoughts are pre-determined. Everything has been already determined by a previous action. A person’s choices are solely on causality. If this is true then any kind of freedom is false. While this seems to be true because of cause and effect, the notion of magic still proves otherwise. Freedom does exist because every human being has this magic inside him or her. It is what forms the creative side of the personality. It is essentially what drives our beliefs values and ideas from the knowledge gained from empirical evidence. When one observes the universe, the individual records what he or she has experienced through the senses and perceptions into thoughts. The God like magic is what makes human being’s rise above the animal kingdom. The magic allows a consciousness to take an empirical observation and formulate it’s own creative thoughts. This is why such progress can in exist in fields like philosophy itself! This is also part of freedom since the consciousness has developed it’s own thoughts it’s own way. Again it is a choice even though it is highly influenced by the senses.
The notion of being completely free has a negative result on the concept of God. If God all mighty and powerful (Omnipotent) like how most perceive him, then how can we be completely free? If He were all mighty with powers beyond what one can comprehend, then a human being would be as free as if causality pre-determined everything. This results with in two options for God. The first would be to acknowledge that he simply does not exist. In order to have the freedom in its entirety, there must be no external force that can control the universe and our fate. The second definition of God is simply one of observation. His omnipotent powers would simply be reduced to those of one who can only watch the universe and cannot intervene. Either way the godly image would be drastically reduced to something less God-like. One could argue that no matter which definition you prefer, in order to be completely free, there really cannot be a God.
As one can see from the countless amount of evidence, human beings are not essentially free from everything. There are both psychological and physical implications that create obstacles in every human being’s way. Depending on the human being, these obstacles could be barriers preventing the being from acting out his or her free will entirely. Bad faith does not exist in total freedom simply because you cannot be free when committing it. The notion of causality also intercepts freedom in the physical universe. The magic that is in every being prevents the universe from being completely pre-determined. The universe can only function properly if determinism and indeterminism are combined. Each one exists but not in extremes like the other two possible views for freedom.

I agree.

I have to agree.

That the improving on your looks and ******d appearance part isn't being stressed enough on these sites.

I'm not saying it's the end all and be all but it's damn sure 95% of there attraction to us. Just like it is to us.

You can do the same exact thing as handsome guys do yet you don't get the same results?

Why do you think that is?If you do Kino and sweet-talk a ***** for 2 months before-hand and did everything you could do to gain her favor, why would she brush you away?

Cuz you're not attractive to her-point blank.

We need to get more realistic here. There are a bunch of guys who aren't lookers getting gassed on fake confidence, talking to nothing but 9's n' 10's,and treating them like ****,then having the nerve to wonder why they don't get any action.

"Women don't care about looks?" Well man if you actually say that with a straight face then you shouldn't even be doing this.Cuz you're in for a world of hurt.

They aren't that much different than us even more shallow I would say.

I'm not saying you're worthless if you're aren't a pretty-boy.But everyone's priority should be to get as polished as possible.

That's what i would tell people who aren't having any real success.

1.Get in shape,get clean.
2.Lower your standards.
3.Cut the crap about being the prize cuz that ain't gonna get your nowhere but to the bathroom with a Econo-size bottle of lotion.Act normal and act accordingly to the situation presented to you.

Once you have the things women seek then you can be a little more demanding and picky. But untill then come back down to earth, bruh.

You aren't James Bond or Tyler Durden or Don Juan or whomever you think you should be.You're are you! And nobody else.

Pretending to be someone else isn't gonna hide your past nor present situation. If other people had a hand in you're life not being where it's supposed to be..then tough ****.That's how the world works.Everyone gets screwed we'd be in heaven if the world was perfect.

Even billionaires, kings, and presidents have skeletons in there closet and have suffered alot.So stop like crying like a little girl just cuz women don't wanna fvck your ugly ass. There are worse things in this world.

For the millionth time I say this:Stop acting like a natural if you're aren't one.

Why should women sleep with someone they aren't attracted to?Cuz they make them laugh?Cuz of you're personality?

Get real, those who have no success need to start with the man in the mirror and stop blaming women or society for them not wanting to sleep with you.

Once again, The Realnezz is talking a lot of sense.

Most guys here would never date a fat, scruffy, geeky girl. Would you date her if she suddenly started acting confident and arrogant, started coming up with witty lines or started touching you up? Of course not! It would probably p1ss you off.

Well, women have standards too! Why would they settle for the first slob who talks to them with an attitude?

Confidence is very important, but without something to back it up, it's just delusional arrogance.
