Noticed a new contractor at work when we were talking to boss was getting into his personal space and slanting her body towards him so I was excluded from the conversation.

And couple of years ago I was talking to a female mgr and this over chick came over touched her on the arm, cut in with her own conversation and did the same body slant thing to freeze me out.

Nasty tactic that seems to be common. Anybody got any ideas to counter this.

Super-strongly recommend against running any sort of game other than "my life is awesome; I am awesome" daily lifestyle stuff. Don't even attempt to hook up with anyone from work. If it happens, it should be because she worked her ass off to seduce you, and should happen somewhere totally outside of work.

Don't allow for any possibility of a sexual harassment suit or rumors to start spreading that you're a womanizer. Your reputation and respect at work directly influence your credibility, position, popularity and influence. These, in turn, directly impact your income. That income is the fuel that powers the engine by which the rest of your life operates.

Hence the adage: never sh!t where you fsck. Or something.

Heheh used a bit of jujitsu. Noticed this woman gets even more political and schmoozey anytime she s not the centre of the group. Kept talking to mgrs and then stopping wen she went by. She spent more time politicking than working. Director noticed and her contracts not getting renewed. Its govt so mite all change tomorrow but currently I m winning.

Hate this childish **** but hey she was trying to take my job..... so game on.
