"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Im taking a shower while two things that i like very much just seem to click and i realize that there are many similarities between the two. Just wanted to really quickly jot this down before i forget it.

Stocks and Women.

When to sell..
One of the most important things that alot of investors fail at is when to sell and when to take their profits. Quite similar to when to next a girl you are with. Some people fall in love with their stock and have some kind of mental connection with it that no matter how bad earnings get or signals become in the market they refuse to sell and believe that it will get better over time. Yet it rarely does. Same thing goes with women, we may be with a particular women for a while begin to get attached or get some of the infamous oneitis and not be willing to next or sell when the signs are all pointing towards it. Its very easy to recognize these signs in a stock or a women, but its harder to take action. You must take action when you see these signals or signs, do not waste your investment, take the gains, get out on the upside, and move your investment into looking for something new to invest in. A new women to invest in with higher rewards. ACT on the signs.

Thousands of stocks to own..
There are thousands and thousands of stocks for one to own. You have so many choices that it is stupid to stay in something inferior when YOU have the choice to go out and buy something better. Just like there are millions of girls out there and if you stay with something that is not for you and doesnt meet ALL of your needs then you are a sucker. With so many to choose from why stick with one that is not the top of the heap. Loose the chick until you find the big winner, the solid performer. To keep a underperfomer in your portfolio is a big mistake. You have so many choices, do not put your money or your time into anyone who disrespects you. Get out and move into something else that is top notch.

Diversified..
You must be diversified in the market so that your risk is lowered by spreading it across multiple sectors and multiple companies. This way if one of your investments fails miserably and you loose all your money, you still have upside in your other investments to make up for it. If your only in one stock and that stock collapses your are screwed and you will be very hurt, destroyed, upset, despressed etc when that stock dissapoints. This is similar to women, you should have a diversified bunch. You need a couple of women to balance out your dependency on any one women. If you only have all of your assets invested in one women when that women dissapoints its going to kill you and throw you back into depressed bull**** mode. Keep yourself diversified with girls so when one flakes out on you the others have enough upside that it doesnt effect you as much.

I had alot of other ideas of how these two things connect. I forgot them though, lol. As they come back ill post them.

Top ideas here:

1.) Know how to spot sell signs. Know how to spot next signs. And then act on them.

2.) So many to choose, dont settle for inferior stocks that dont meet all of your rules. Same goes with women, do not waste your time on women that do not meet you needs, move on find another, there are SO MANY out there.

3.) Be diversified. Always have a basket of stocks in your portfolio. Never put all of your eggs into one basket. Same goes with women, you need to protect yourself by having more then one women at all times.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

great post. i agree whole heartedly.

another synposis of the ideas you are talking about is don't invest emotionally.

judge the stock objectively before you buy it. an emotional attachment to the stock and its performance will arise, but if you've been objective in picking it first you will do much better in the long run.

if the company said its earnings would be up 30% and they are up 20% don't believe any bullsh*t line they give you. at the end of the day they missed their earnings and you should consider dumping them. at most give them one more quarter to prove themselves.

Women and stocks

Buying High - NEVER BUY HIGH! If you do, only do so for a quick turn around or because you think there's an imminent M&A about to happen. Buying a stock at its peak will cost you in the long run.

the dotcom stock - this is like the crazy psycho chic. tons of fun and exciting, but things can go crazy overnight. "what, they never really had a product?!!!" might give you the most exciting night of your life, but always leaves you broke and scratching your head asking "what the hell happened?"

The Blue Chip stock - She's reliable, knows what she wants, takes no guff but gives no guff either. She might not be the most exciting woman ever, but she gets the job done. You know you'll be getting reliable consistent returns for years to come.

The Undervalued stock - maybe she's a few pounds over weight, maybe too shy, maybe overly caring, etc. but the potential is all there. If you are prepared to vest your money for a while this can be the kind of stock/ woman that down the road can blossom into hb10 and love you like a king at the same time.

The battered stock - can you say Enron? this chic will say and do anything to get what she wants. to this chic anyone who can't look you in the eye and lie with a smile is weak and deserves what they get. all she cares about is getting her return and leaving the company in shambles. maybe daddy beat her as a kid, who knows, but whatever soul she had long ago died - don't be fooled by her exterior.

Always go with the Blue Chip stock or the undervalued stock for LTR. everythign else and you are gambling with odds that are against you.
