I kept the title a bit spicy anyway check this out:

The anticipation of getting laid is far better than actually getting laid.
The journey there is definitely better than the destination itself. The mental games, the physical queues, the tell-tale signs. I personally like it. I feel like I'm hunting, and my words and actions are my bow and arrow. Watching the shift in demeanor is almost as good as getting laid itself. Knowing that with words and actions alone I've managed to pique his/her interest. I like the feeling of anticipation, wondering if what I said / did shifts them more positively or negatively. The moments before getting physical are absolutely the best. Feeling the adrenaline rising, the heartrate increase, the rise of passion itself is better than the act of it, to me at least. The feeling of knowing you did good is just as good if not better than the actual act itself.

EDIT: DONT even pretend like you have never played "the game". Because thats exactly what it is. and you can not deny the feeling of elation when you've won it. So get off your moral high horses, because what the f**k do you think you're doing on tinder/grindr or when you're at the bars on a friday/saturday night. You're hunting. Plain and simple. You can try to pretend that you're above it, but courting/ approaching is a game. You either win, or you don't, either way, its a game/chase.

The anticipation and leading up to sex, is better than the actual sex.
This may come from my own personal attitude towards anything I find enjoyable. I’ve seen to always have this predisposition that anticipating things, and the mental build up that I go through prior to the event, is what I look forward to most. I have a bad habit of not fully enjoying “The Moment” whether it be sex or another enjoyable activity, simply because I know that the feeling/pleasure won’t last.

Transposing that directly to sex, it’s always the hours beforehand and the foreplay that are the most excitable times for me.

Sex is great, but not as great as in my head.
