Creatine Cycling: Good or Bad

After reading the creatine thread by wheelin I was wondering what you guys thought about creatine cycling? Is it more effecient to cycle or is it better to take a regular dose everyday? I was also wondering how I should wain myself off of creatine after I begin using it without losing too much mass (if possible) Thanks.

I cycled when I was on it - 6 weeks on, 6 off. 5 day loading to start each 'on' cycle. Worked pretty well for me.

I posted a question like this on wannabebig bodybuilding forums and most of the people said it was pointless to cycle creatine. They said it would be the same as cycling vitamins which is pointless.

Then a few weeks later I got banned from the forum because I ripped into a few people over there. They don't let you flame people like you can here.

I seem to get the impression that only supplement companys are encouraging cycling, probably so they can make more money. Anyways, how much should I take for the best results?
