One of my services is website development. I thought I'd include a free site creator, is there anything cool out there?

weebly is a content management system. what BSDJ wants is a script that allows him to build / design the site on the fly himself.
I actually own a web development company if you didn't know this. i say that to say that you are going about this the wrong way.

These websites are going to be very ****ty lol. they are going to be generic and on top of that they are going to be static sites, meaning that you will have go in and make changes whenever they want changes made to the site, and while you might be thinking yes i can just get them to pay me more every time they want to make changes, that line of thinking worked 10 years ago it doesn't work today in the world of open source. you will lose this client 9 out of 10 times today by trying to nickel and dime them like that. and y ou are nickel and diming them for an infieior product.
no this is what you want to do. Find a web designer and tell him to make you a PHP based generic 5 page business website with a content management system. this should run you about 300-500 bucks. closer to 300. make sure the design is very tatseful yet, somewhat generic.

the admin is the content management system. client paid 300 bucks for this site, it's something we did to get the resume going, anyway that's not here nor there, my point is what you really want to do is to have an agreement in place with this guy and tell him for every client you bring him and want to use , he will agree to make minor grahpic changes to the site for say.. 50 bucks per, then you pass that on to the client.
this works better for 2 reasons
1. the site is going to look much better
2. the client can update the content themselves. login to the admin panel and see for yourself. they will already have this
3. all the programmer has to do at this point is maybe open Photoshop, change the color scheme and the name/graphics/navigation. might take 1-2 hours tops. re program those changes into the site. doesn't have to load the content the client can do it themselves. by using the same template over and over it saves money.
to be blunt this work is not big enough for us to do we do much more complex stuff now, but there are very good people that can do this very cheap

I've done market analysis, Russia by the way, city of Sochi, 2014 winter Olympic games. I'm not final on my strategy, but it looks like A LOT, 90%+ of our local sites is done using some sort CMS and they all suck for several different reasons:
a) Hosted on shared hosting server when needed a virtual server with at least 256 MB memory.
b) Very few actually gone as far as using at least themes, just bare CMS with changed banner.
c) Pages, sections of the site look plain text. Difference from page to page is just different text. Lots and lots of boring text.
That's when people that needed a nice static site used CMS. People like let's say a car electrician, or a TV repair man, or an auto service. For those instead of a complex CMS that's good on technology, it is best to use static site, which is full of color, neuro-lenguistic text, and color theory.
That's my selling point, neuro-lenguistics and color theory.
I want to make sites that are search engine optimized and once person visits he or she buys and my customers increase their business revenue. In this scenario customer has to come to me when he or she wants to modify something, I am including a number of free "modify" incidents, and cheap support plants so that they can modify things after wards. Of course as you understand, not everyone knows NLP and color theory, so that's why they need me.
I also going to offer CMS for online shops. Shops by the way here all suck ass. Plain, product descriptions suck, they looks like something a kid would do. http://www.marketsochi.ru/
I am going to offer shops in two stages, stage is shop itself + 10 products. Then customer can add additional products themselves - that where most fail, because they don't want to do it, or don't know how to do it. Stage two 500 rubles per product, less than 8 bucks, that's NLP, color theory, pictures, everything so that product you put on there look excellent, just like on amazon.com or on ebay.com...
Basically my slogan is Stand out from boring RUnet.. CMS will be offered, but not recommended to everyone, as it is not always required. And the requirement of customer being able to modify it will be filled with a package of free modify incidents and additional paid support plans that will not put a dent on their packets. My selling point on this is quite simple, show me a site that has ability to self modify and looks good, you need a professional with understanding of web technology for things to look good.
So what you think on offering free site builder, yar or ney? I was thinking about it just to bring public in and hang around my site.

you're making a pretty common mistake.
when you say CMS you are really trying to say open source cms. in other words, you are assuming that the only way you can have a CMS is by using one that is open source like wordpress/weebly/joomla/dupral/os commerce/etc

Yes I hear what you saying. It is just not for me, because custom PHP is - even if you know PHP well - lots of masturbation. For a recardo site like you showed me they'd pay 50,000 rubles here, that's $1,800, include first year hosting and domain registration in that price. 80,000 rubles tops, that's $2,800. That's month worth of PHP masturbation.

the ricardo site woudl be much more than 1,800 dollars. but that is a full blown social networking site. i never told you to go get a full blown social networking site.
listen to me, this is what i for a living, i promise you i know what i am talking about. a custom PHP 5 page generic business site will take a programmer about 15 to 20 hours. at 15 dollars an hour that is 225 dollars.
all you need to have done is to have is to have a design created and have the 5 or so pages programmed into a content management system. that's not an 1800 dollar job that's a 2-3 day job.
you equate web hosting + domain at 1000 a month. a web host for a basic generic site at godaddy is $6.99 a month. a URL is $12.99 a year.
quite bluntly if this is the amount of info you have about the products you are selling you don't need to be selling them. you don't know your product well enough.
this is the same damn argument i have with half my clients. custom does not equte expensive. it just means custom.
