"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Hello all,

I have been pretty much off of the site because I wanted to try my own way of doing things.

I have been in all respects a bad DJ, but yet I have a lot more success than most of you will have.

I open doors for girls. I tell them that they are pretty. I do a lot of other things for girls. You know what though? I still get numbers and dates.

How do I get them? Confidence. That ten letter word is what makes me able to go out and do all these things. I do not look like a sleezeball either. I managed to strike a chord and make it beautifully work. I act like a gentleman.

I still get numbers. That is when I came to the conclusion that everything is not inheritantly AFC. It is only AFC because people overdo this type of behavior. Can I get a girl a flower on the first date? If I feel like it, sure. :flowers: Will I? Not likely. I still see myself as the great catch. I make sure that women notice me. I get my name out there.

I have also taken it upon myself to be a jack of all trades. I took up swing dancing. I convo'ed with the vice president. I got a private lesson back at her place. By the end of the practice, I was sitting on her bed talking about different things that we want in life (sorry guys, I have a girlfriend already).

I just don't overdo things. I am fun and have fun with people. If someone does not want to do something with me, I go on my own to have fun.

Earlier today, I was walking past a group of girls setting up tables. Dozens of people were just walking past them. I stopped and donated an hour of my time and got my girlfriend to help out as well. Just from that random act of kindness, I felt better. Apparently, it meant a lot more to those girls though. The girls gave me a t-shirt for helping. My girlfriend later told me that one of the girls was in her class later in the afternoon and the girls were going to search me out and date me.

It taught me a lesson that I like. Give out random acts of kindness because you never know what might come out of it.

Everything I do though, is done through confidence of myself. I do it because I want to and people will respect that and sometimes revere it. Others, like girls, will find it powerful.

DJ-ism's ultimate goal is not to become the ultimate ladies man, but it is instead to become your best self and still manage to be the man of your own dreams.

Dream big guys because even if you fall, the journey was well worth it.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
