"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Concert date with virtually no rapport???

I want to ask a chick out to The Killers concert in Atlantic City. The concert is this Thursday and I will have extremely little time to talk. When I first see her she is going to class and the next time I see her on Tuesday is when I have to go to class. We briefly talked before. She did fidget a lot and started the conversation with a cheap comment about professors being late--while I was talking to someone else who was fairly far from her--but I was unable to carry through with the this for a decent amount of time because I was there to speak to the class and the professor put us on the clock as soon as he got in the room (about 30 seconds after we began to speak).

Must I establish some sort of rapport in order to be successful? Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I will have to give it a shot without rapport but I am curious as to how I can minimize the problems caused by a lack of rapport. Will she be willing to get in a car for 3 hours with a guy she knows virtually nothing about? I want to have a date for this concert and will not wait a week or weeks in order to establish rapport with her. It is tomorrow or never for her.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Rapport can be gained in a little as a few minutes. However, the statement you made assuming it would take at least a week if not more to gain rapport lets your secret out of the bag of having less than optimum skills in gaining rapport.

What you need to do is to get a general understanding of a ton of general "stuff" to talk about during your drive to the concert. It's RAPPORT TIME.

Three hours can go by in a flash after you gain rapport. On the other hand, it could be like dieing a slow death if you don't establish some level of rapport with her.

It's up to you now. Either step out of your comfort zone and throw some mad rapport skills at her or sit sulking on the ride to the concert. Sulk during the concert and obviously sulk on the ride home. We're talking about a full 8 hour day of sulking or 8 full hours of sarging and having a good time.

It's up to you, there's nothing to loose. Either way, she gets to see a concert for free.

That statement and question is about establishing rapport before the date, not during it. I just won't have the time to do so before I ask her out. I don't anticipate trouble doing it afterwards but she has to say "yes" to the date first. We may be able to get togther on Wednesday but that is only if she agrees to do so with a guy she knows nothing about.

honestly a concert is not the best first date option. it will be insanely loud, and there's no opportunity for her to get to know you in a comfortable setting [being trapped in a car for 90 min. doesn't count]. besides, why do you "really want" a "date" for a concert? aren't you going because you think the band is awesome? this seems sort of wussy. you should go with your bros instead.

yeah i agree concerts are no place for a first date. concerts are better dates with a lt gf or your guy friends. plus at a killers concert youwont enjoy it much shell be getting knocked around and bittching the whole time about people steping on her stilettos. tell her your gong to take her out on friday

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
