Hi

When I say something, I always think I lose the interest of people because I say it wrong.

We all know the saying it's not what you say, but how you say it. And I believe this to be true, as I notice some people telling the largest pile of sh*t you've ever heard, but people seem captivated by what is being said.

I'm looking for some good articles or perhaps books on this subject, how I can change my tone of voice and the words I'm using etc...

Thanks

It's called charisma. If you got it you know it. If you don't you know it.

There is a certain art to storytelling. We all have stories but not all of us know about cliffhangers leaving them more, funny asides, connecting with the audience, and other things a great story teller can do.

As is often the case if you have a problem there is probably a TED talk or dozens about it.

I highly recommend you start a blog, try some standup comedy, or try sales. You will suck at all of them at first but you definitely develop some serious storytelling skills. It's throwing yourself in the deep end of the pool and struggling to swim in front of an audience that bores easily.
