Cancer boy refusing chemo runs away with mom

This is a developing news story. Basically, the kid and his mom refused chemotherapy for the kid's Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The cancer is pretty curable with chemotherapy. But the kid is illiterate and doesn't understand that he is sick and can be treated. Instead he relies on his mother (and maybe his father) who thinks that the cancer is curable with "alternative" natural methods like herbal supplements, ionized water, vitamins, etc.

What a bunch of idiots. They want to use useless remedies to treat something complicated, and on top of that, they want to blame the medical profession and science for making them sick(er).

Sometimes, I say let the idiots self-select themselves out of the gene pool.

Im glad someone wrote about this, i just saw it one the news again. Personally i think they should let them do what they want and have their punishment be their sons death. People say natural selection no longer has an effect, but they just dont SEE it because it takes different shapes and forms. You would think at the LEAST they would google that sh*t and figure out what they should do. I dont really condone death, but if you do something like this you kinda deserve it. I'll say truthfully that if the kid can actually find a way to get cured without chemo, let him. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thing is that he's not old enough to make a decision and his parents are the one's wagering his life. Sad thing is that nothing can be done because I don't think there is a law for refusing medical treatment as far as I know.

There is in the UK, the child would become a ward of the State and made to have chemo whilst the parent(s) face child negligence/abuse charges. Sometimes socialism does have it's advantages.

The mom and the boy are on the run.
The judge ruled that they have to allow the chemo. If caught the boy will become a ward of the state and the parents are in trouble.
