"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I have been running for 3 months, the first two months I lost 20 pounds, and so I was very exited by this, so I decided that I would lose 12 pounds by the following end of the month, but to my surprise, yesterday I weighed, and I only lost one pound. In this month I ate less, and ran more, lifted weihgts, I think that the creatine and the protein powder influenced my metabolism. Do you guys know why I did not lose weight?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Nice job. You probably gained muscle, which weighs (from what people tell me) ~2x more than fat. It's not how much you lose, but how you look in the mirror. ;)

Yeah, sounds like you gained some muscle.

I try to go by how I look in the mirror as opposed to the # on the scale. I guess you could do measurements too. How many inches you lost around your waist, etc...

you can't gain muscle if you're in a calorie deficit, which it appears that you're at.

do you weigh yourself at the same time of day (morning after poopy and pissy, but before brekky)?

CONDO FRANCO, if u ask any expert in the line of weight loss and sport they'll all say " the first 1-2 months always go the fastest b/c ur getting the water and crap out of ur system/body and also a little muscle" unless there complete cretins and say something else.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

well, see, the first one month and a half , I ate a lot of protein, but I lost 20 pounds, now I ate less protein and food in general and I burned my a$$ running one hour a day and lift weights (very heavy weights) and only I lost one lousy pound. yes I weighed my self one month after, and with the same clothes and I went to the bathroom before. if I did not gain muscle, Why do I weigh the same? I want to believe I gained muscle ;)

If you are eating too little, your metabolism is just going to shut down and retain whatever mass you have going into "starvation" mode where you cannot lose weight no matter what you do.

Take a good look at the amount of calories you are taking in. If it is less than 1600 per day, get it back up to that at least.

In addition, after losing that much weight, your body literally needs a break and needs to "reset" before it will lose weight again. Here's what I recommend you do: spend a weekend eating carbs in the form of pasta and eat about 1800 to 2000 calories per day. Then, get back on your reduced carb diet but a the same amount of calories (1800-20000 per day for the next week.

After that week, your body should be reset, then get back to 1600 to 1700 calories per day on a reduced carb diet and you'll lose more weight.

Please post your stats -- current weight, bodyfat % (you should have this taken now if you haven't done so already, go to any decent gym and they'll use calipers to give you a rough estimate of your bodyfat), and your height.

P.S. Also check your water intake -- you should be drinking at least a gallon per day. The more water you drink, the more weight your body will shed.
