"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

One of my female friends has a bf, which is ok cause I’m not really interested in her anyway. She has a friend though that I’ve seen with her a few times that I think is really cute, and wouldn’t mind finding out more about her. Since the cute girl goes to a different school, our only link is that one female friend.

I wanted to meet this girl so I called up the female friend with the bf and said “hey you should come to ____ place with us this weekend, and the only way you’re going to be able to make up for the fact that you have a bf is by bringing some of your female friends” hoping that she would bring the friend I wanted to meet. She liked idea and came, bringing along the “wrong” female friend.

So that didn’t really work as I planned, so now I’m considering just flat out telling her, “hey, I want to meet _____, can you invite her too? She seems cool, I want to meet her.” Would this come across as kindof weird? But then again, my female friend has a bf so shouldn’t it be completely normal for me to be asking to be hooked up with some of her hot friends.

The only downside to this would be that she’s going to tell the girl I think is cute: “yeah, my friend apparently thinks you’re cute and wants to meet you”, so when we officially hang out for the first time, everything’s going to be out in the open.

Is there any better way to do this or is this something that’s perfectly normal to do?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Well, I don't really know how old they are. I'm 19, so if they end up being like 16 or something that'll be kindof weird. I could ask my female friend all about these girls but that'd be kindof stalkerish.

The only reason I'm asking is because I've never really gotten something like that to work before. Whenever I've asked in the past, they always kindof blow it off, almost as if I was joking, or sometimes even "yeah right, like she would date you".

Hmmm, how do I put this... it's all in your mind. There's nothing wrong with asking your one friend to introduce you to her other friend. Asking how old she is isn't weird either, you're just being selective for yourself (a good thing.)

I think a problem with most guys is that when it comes to relationships with females, they get way too serious, look how scared just asking to meet her friend is for you! It shouldn't be like that at all man, just have fun with it! Just make sure you come to your friend about her friend with the attitude of just wanting to get to know her, not like you already like her; you already said that in your post though, just keep that mentality and you'll be fine! And if her friend DOES come at you like "ooooh, you like me," then so what? You know it's not true! I'd probably hit her with something like "oooh, wow... someone's got a big head" with a nice smirk for her! It's nothing but the truth, right? Seriously, this stuff is not hard, it's all in the mind my man! Now go for it!

Dude. Calm. The. ****. Down. You are honestly thinking wayyyyyy too ****ing much. Go back and read your post. Seriously, the reason you are having trouble with girls is that you're really overanalyzing everything. You have 500 posts here and you can't figure out that the real person you should be focused on is you.

The problem is you're way too ****ing worried about w2hat she thinks of you. You say that you're worried that "she will find out that i think she's cute." Read that sentence again and think to yourself, what the **** kind of man am i?

I guess I should give you some real advice, but honestly dude, it's time to man-up. Say this to your TakenFriend.

skinnydart: Hey, introduce me to your hott friend, SingleChick.

If she's any type of friend she will give you some **** then introduce you. If she doesn't introduce or gives reasons why for some reason this girl isn't interested in meeting anybody new, SingleChick has said something negative about you.

Sorry to be so harsh bro, but you need a SERIOUS kick in the ass.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
