I was up in Jamaica Queens today just to see where I had to go for my interview next week. I have to say, Jamaica is not a place I would want to live. It seems a bit dangerous and if anyone else can fill me in on what they know about it, let me know.

Besides Astoria, what are some good places to live in Queens?

The areas close to Long Island are good, Bayside, Douglaston, Little Neck. But the prices there can be pretty steep depending on what you are looking for.
