Board/Brick Breaking.

I don't know if this belongs in this section, but here we go.

My current goal for martial arts is to break a cinderblock. Has anyone ever had experience with this? Our school does a board breaking week around once every three months, so I don't get to break much. Watching my teacher break two huge cinderblocks inspires me to do more and push my limits. My current cap is at around 3-4 adult sized boards. I plan to be breaking cinderblocks or at least bricks by mid 2012, and late 2012 at the latest.

Is there anybody who done this before, and are there any training regimens you'd recommend for breaking? My instructor just says keep breaking boards, and adding more in small increments, but boards are mad expensive, plus I only got access to board orders in certain seasons.

In Kuntao Silat we trained against walls to build bone density, thats all your really trying to do. Look up books on steel shirt quigong thats basically what your doing but only on your hands not your whold body.
