"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Alright so I got into this commuter school about a month ago and I live on rez. Long story short I'm from a really small town and moved to a big city and my social skills were more or less small town oriented so basically right now people are talking a little bit of **** about me, nothing major, but more or less that I'm the quiet guy and that I've done a couple of wierd things. So basically how do I get my social life back on track since the inital meet and make friends stage is kinda over for rez since everyone sorta has their groups now (I have my own sorta group but theres only one guy who I can really say is cool with me). The thing about my group is that they are slowly turning on me cuz of me not being social enough or something. What do you guys suggest I do to sorta fix this problem. Would me starting to talk and whatever sorta erase this problem? I know people already see my as the quiet one so would talking and trying to be funny or whatever seem out of place? Its been around a month already so people might already have their opinions of me set in or whatever. Should I try to make friends with people off rez as well or what?

Also by the way the way my rez is setup is that there a house with 4-6 people living in them basically. And each house is close to the others. I live in one of the Northern US states so others might not know what I mean but whatever.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Do you walk around with them or think like u're a reject? If so, you probably come off that way, lowering your own social group. You need to be positive. Act like you belong there.

There should be no limit to the amount of friends you make. You cant think that u're less than anyone. everyone's a lil weird. Talk to people long enough and you will see that no one is normal. It's what makes us all different. Grap your balls and speak! You either speak with confidence and meet new people, or remain quite board and unhappy till you graduate.

Look through threads or the bible for confidence.

i'm in the same boat as you my friend i'm at comm college right now but i'm actually transferring to another school...in highschool i was extremely social then all of a sudden i get to comm and i got all shy b/c i didn't know ANYONE!!

i've been like that scince i was a little kid though

my advice is find 2 guys you can keep close to and chill with having to many friends can be hard to let you know who's the closest ones... but whatever you do don't try to become someone your not.
