One thing that I've been focusing on a lot more recently is eliminating all the fence-straddlers from my life. Either you're "Fvck Yes!" about hanging out with me, or I'm out. This goes for friends as well as women. I've got no time for friends who half-ass it when making plans, give me "maybe this day or that day, I don't know."
Not interested.
Be binary. Zeroes and ones. Yes and no. No in-betweens, no half measures. Stop making excuses for other people. Your life will become very simple.
This works exceedingly well in negotiating the best deal for yourself. If the other person won't say yes to your terms, you can say no or do the takeaway.
This is not about being a jerk about it. You can be cordial and polite, and unattached to the outcome, but still demand what you want and what you'll accept.
