The trailer, which has been out for a year, gave me the impression that this film would be average, barely worth seeing...

I was wrong.

Everyone needs to see this flick.

well, i was quite disapointed. It wasn't the deep, compelling character study that i was expecting, just an average superhero movie like every other superhero movie.. but somehow, not as rewarding.

The pace was ridiculously fast. This distracted from the emotinal impact certain scenes were meant to have. Plus it gave it a annoying saturday morning cartoon feel.

It was WAY too long. The film just went on & on. The plot wasn't particularily great. & it had many plot holes. They tried to fit too much of a story in there, which meant they missed out on the human element this film demanded.

This accounts for the super fast pace. It's like they had a 5 hour movie that they tried to squeese into 2 hours.

The action scenes were sub-par. It used dated techniques like having quick camera cuts during a fight so you can't actually tell whats going on. Even the 1990 Batman film had better fight scenes.

The whole film felt rushed &, in some ways, amaturly put together.
Not what i was expecting.

I disagree, i am not a batman fan and wasn't going to see this originally. However, a friend convinced me to go and we both agreed its the best movie we've seen the last couple years.

the movie was awesome,especially since my friend gets me into theathres for free.
i recommend anyone who likes action movies and/or is a batman fan to go see it.
