"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Went through a training course with a girl I share common interests with. Both of us got employed by the company as outdoor adventure instructors working together. Sure I want to progress things with her but I don't s*** where I eat because even though this is just your casual summer job, I wouldn't mind keeping it long term.

One thing that has got me is I cannot seem to 'click' with her. I've always had a knack of making people feel comfortable around me yet she doesn't seem receptive. We just can't seem to converse. The weird thing is she tries talking to me all the time but ignores me when I try striking a conversation. This has been going on for last few months and I'm getting tired of this to the point I may just ignore her altogether.

Backtracking, there are some subtle signs there but learning from this site, I don't invest in them and allow myself to get all AFC. I come from a friendly point of mind in that I want to get to know her rather than have this to and fro that seems to be going on. And if not, I ain't going to put anymore effort to this.

*Thought I'd clarify a few things. I've acted different around her compared to girls in the past in that I hold much more back while still maintaining my friendly personality. When we talk I always keep it light and with some playful teasing and the occasional bit of kino within limits (playful punches etc). She also seems like the quiet 'boring' type. No mention of boyfriends and when I saw on her phone I thought I'd try and suss out her relationship status if she was messaging someone. She ACTUALLY spent the whole time playing a game and acting all goofy. Heck I might be wrong but I've never met a girl so well, uninspiring.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

So you want us to tell you how to seduce an uninterested, boring, uninspiring, nerdy girl?

Rule #1 in Seduction is the Choose the Right Victim - one who has an unconscious physical reaction to you (her pupils get large), and one who produces a strong reaction in you (you love her). This is key because when she resists you (and a good target always will, contrary to what many Forum members will have believe as they convert Interest Level from Analog to Binary), you will then have the strength to overcome her resistance.

In other words find a better girl. If you must try with this one, and she's boring, try shaking things up. Grab her and kiss her or something. I've tried twice in the past year (both with neighbors who were hanging out a lot) in an actual attempt to deliberately scare girls off and they actually liked it!

Cheers for the tips guys, much appreciated. The thing is I am not after seducing her. Heck, I have enough plates I am spinning at the moment. It's just I don't understand why she always tries talking to me but when I do I get ignored. I mean, if she wasn't interested wouldn't she keep contact with me to a bare minimum and keep conversation topics to work?

Thing is BN, that was what she was like when I first started working with her I'd catch her staring at me from the corner of my eyes when I was more 'aloft'. She'd also love stretching around me from sticking her chest out (both of us had a cheeky smile not that I was looking to :D ) to randomly during lunch in all positions she could do.

But my point her is I am not even looking for anything. Guess I'm just finding it weird where most people from guys to girls that I meet I become instant friends with but here I don't. It's not like I acted like an idiot or a jerk to her either. I've become great mates with everyone else at work even the HB9's!

Well if you figure out a way let me know because I certainly haven't and yet for some reason I seem to attract these sort of women. Maybe it's an opposites attract thing at first, then when they realize that we have nothing in common they finally give up just as I was starting to break though.
