Connecting with "older" women is my area of experience and perhaps, expertise.

I have asked numerous single, 40 plus women this question, in regard to relationships and dating," What do you want ?"
Their answers are ALWAYS vague and wishywashy. They NEVER answer directly ( inspite of their 'secret laundry list' of shallow 'wants' - "he must be tall with dark hair and goodlooking and wealthy " )

If any of these women openly declare what they do want, their expectations are absurd - they talk as if THEY are still 25 years old and model hot.
They have a breathtaking capacity to completely ignore the fact that their market value at age 50 ,with three teenage kids, is low and dropping by the hour.
However their answer to my question is always ambiguous and obscure after they tell me that they are "NOT really looking" .The evidence condradicts that statement - however they claim that meeting a man is NOT on their "must have " list . Apparently we are "optional " .However they continue to play the game of dating , looking and hoping to meet a man who they are not looking to meet .
Are you confused ?

What self respecting man man would want to pursue a woman like this for sex, let alone an LTR.

The reason that older woman are not having sex is mainly because older men are avoiding them.

I've tapped my share of older women when I was in my 20s and I can tell you that the sex was no more or less extrordinary than the younger women I've been with. The only major difference? I never had to worry about 22 y.o. single girls finding a babysitter for a night or had to be concerned with making too much noise during sex so as not to wake up her son in the next room. Nor was I concerned about it being "her weekend" to have the kids. If the common belief is that older women encourage an idea that they are more sexually available, you've got to ask yourself, why would they be motivted to be more so at 35 than 25?

The social reinforcement of the "older woman" fantasy is just a modern extension of the "she's still got it" social convention with the latent purpose of leveling the playing field for 30-40 something women unable to sexually compete for the same calibre men with 18-28 y.o. women.

Women's sexual value naturally declines as they age - it serves an older woman's purpose if she can redefine sexuality as her conditions change through life, and convince society that she's correct and genuine. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore may epitomize this fantasy, but in reality, there are thousands of women filling gyms across the country for every Demi Moore convinced that they "still got it" while every year a new crop of 22-24 y.o. hotties commands the attention of the same men they're competing for. This is true. My mother was pulling 20 somethings when she was 43. I remember this one time, lol... Her workplace had a party at a local night spot, and I was her date. It was one of my favorite moments with her because it was mother and daughter tearing it up, she had never seen me dance before, and I got to see her let loose and have fun.

Anyways, at one point in the night she took me to the bar to get a drink, I was early 20's at this time, and all the boys were on her @SS! This one hottie I had my eye on tried to chat her up and get her # as she passed, I was like "Hey, that's my mother!" With the "come on" face. He looked at me, and was like "Your mom is HOT!" Funny sh!t.

You just don't see many of these hot older women because they are married, have careers, busy with their lives, ect. They don't go out like we do. You might meet one through a friend, or if you get lucky at the grocery store. Or Target. at you know who.

A friend I used to work with has a really hot mom. He has 3 sisters all in their late teens and early 20s, and all 3 of them are hot. But his mother blows them out of the water. That never failed to amuse me when his family would come in. And she had popped out like 6 kids!

The same reasons why SOME younger women are attracted to older men are the SAME reasons that some younger men are attracted to older women.

And yes, many women view older men who "prey" on younger women as pathetic and creepy.
