are women stronger than men?

at the end of the day are women stronger than men? are they less dependent? Less needy? More manipulative and crafty?

or are men stronger? Do we push forward better dispite adversity? Do we stand stronger on our own two feet? Are we more able to stare the truth in the face and walk away the better for it?

what do you guys think?
I'm beginning to think that when we don't give our power away to some woman just so we can sleep with her that men are unbelievably more powerful than women on just about every front.

The feminist movement has turned the tides on who is stronger.

Nowadays, I'd say that women are gettnig stronger and men are becoming conditioned to be more supplicating, hence weaker.

I'd say as human's, we are all equal, potentially... it's just up to the individual, wether or not he/she will put up with sh!t or not.

With so many women out there who are incredibly hot vs. very few REAL men (and with so much importance placed on her outer beauty) the women do get alot of leverage. Most guys stumble over each other just to get a chance to talk (read: mumble and fumble) to one of these beauties.

Woman can leave men alot easier, because they know the second they do there will be many more guys lined up to go out with them.

As men, we need to know that leaving a girl means that we have to get back into the game and go through the qualifying motions to find another girl. That can be a hard pill to swallow, but once you can become a rare commodity and be in demand, you are in the same position as those hot women are.

I DO get alot of women who are interested, even though I'm still getting over a girl I loved. It makes it alot easier, knowing that things will be good no matter what.

I'd say that none are stronger than the other. It's all up to the person and how he/she deals with stuff.

It depends on the situation. In some areas of life, men are stronger and in some areas women are stronger.

As far as relationship needs go, women do have a bit of an advantage just because men need sex more than women need to be supported and taken care of. It used to be that women needed to marry to have a child. It used to be that a woman would settle down quickly to have a family and in return the man who married her got sex, someone to cook and clean and care for his children. Because of the way society has changed, a woman doesn't need a man's support financially and society no longer shuns a woman who has a child out of wedlock. Men still need the sex, though.

I disagree that women don't need a man anymore to support them. My grandfather supported 5 children and his wife on one simple job. There is no way in hell that a woman could support 5 children and herself in todays world.

The cost of living has increased dramitcally. In todays world women are forced to have less children because they can't support them. In fact even when both parents work fulltime they can at most support 2 children.

I could argue that women are far more opressed in todays world then ever before.

I can also asure you that society still does shun a woman who has a child out of wedlock. I know many women who have children due to their fcuking around at a young age. Most men I know will not have anything to do with them. That is the truth. None of my friends will ever give a ring to a woman who has a child out of wedlock. I know for a fact that I would not either. These women will remain single mothers and the men that they do find will just use them for sex. Women should be carefull and realize that they come with an expiry date and will that time is up... you can forget the sex too.

This just proves to me that the best environment that produces and supports life is an old fashioned marriage. You just can't compare the success of our grandparents to the dismal failures of marriage and the modern family of today.

I would also like to make the point that most of my friends are out to make their millions. As men we realize that in todays world if we want to be able to support a family and a wife we have to be very very successfull. We have to be in a position of complete power. If I ever find a wife I can asure you that she will NEVER need to work.

and if I can't find a wife.... there will also be plenty of women, young women who will hang off my arms as I pull out of my bently.

Bad Question

The question indicates a complete lack of understanding, which is a good thing because now you can learn something. The answer is, it depends on the man and the woman. This isn't a good answer because it's a flawed question. Most men are willing to give up their personal power over themselves for sex. They don't respect themselves enough to not do this. Most women will try to take a man's personal power, not because she wants it, but because she wants to see if he is a wuss or not. If you give up your power to a woman, you are no longer sexy to her. She will now either move on to another man until she finds one that won't give her his power, or she'll make him her *****.

Strong women, strong men, co-dependant women, co-dependant men, you'll find both of these in the world. Not a matter of opinion, a fact of life. The world may change as time goes on but there will always be an abundance of strong and weak people.

I know strong men and strong women are there more of one today in the world of today then there has been in the past? Eh who can say, I haven't met the worlds population of women and men, nor will I ever. So until then speculation is all I can do and I've met enough heros and victims of both sexes for two lifetimes.

Men and Women both compliment each others weakness and strengths. You can't walk with only one left foot, can you? But with 2 feet you can walk,run ect. Physically, we are stronger in virtually everything & more bold, Socially women are wonderful and more crafty.

joekerr31, about being less dependant, that depends on the person. We both have different ways of dealing with similar challenges so to speak. I think it's more healthier to see it as the man is naturally dominant and the women by nature, the submissive ones. That does not mean we any better or any worse. In terms of what us men want (more sex with more partners readily avaliable) then it seems that just because women have a 'easier' access to it then they are stronger, not so. In the end, yes women should be submissive to their man if the man is giving himself to her self-lessly.

You'd be surprised what a woman can do. I have 4 children and get no child support. I've been essentially supporting my family with almost no contribution from the other parent since 1994. We live in a nice house in a nice town and aside from a few minor struggles here and there we've done just fine. I could support 5 kids if I had to as well.

The only people who look down on a woman who wasn't married to the father of her child are people who tend to look down on virtually everyone and everything anyhow...and those kinds of people simply don't matter. women aren't stronger

Women aren't strronger, its just that they have been into the game years before we have. When we were swapping baseball cards and watching Sesame Street, the were reading Teen Cosmopolitan and swapping tricks to confuse guys.

When our Dads were showing us how to throw a curveball, Moms were telling their daughters how to drive guys crazy by switching the amounts of attention given.

By the time puberty hit, the females were psyched, whereas the guys were a little clueless. They are not stronger, they've just had a headstart because when we were figuring out how the world works they were figuring out what makes us tick. That's why simply being aware of female tricks breaks their power immediately.

If you suddenly become aware of the fact that women mix signals deliberately to test you, then the next time a chick does it, you smile to yourself.

Knowledge of the game is a source of strength. The AFC isn't necessarily weak, most times, he is simply ignorant.
