Are men to blame for the declining rate of motherhood?

This article rants about the cover story for Time magazine (unfortunately it seems to be behind a paywall) in that the story has interviews from virtually only women, and that somehow men are equally to blame.

My opinion: Women are the complete masters of reproduction, as they control the gate - a gate that virtually any woman can easily find a suitable man to enter. While there are more and more men who don't want to have kids to lessen the chance of becoming a destitute divorced dad, or a cuckold - there are still plenty of men who are willing to give it a chance, if that is the price to secure a nice steady supply of intimacy (at least while married.)

Women often use whining, complaining and playing victim as tools to hide their own laziness.

Becoming a mother is as easy as lying on your back and opening your legs. In fact.. the act of sex itself is MORE labor intensive for a man than a woman. In addition.. women place a high value on their willingness to do something that requires almost NO effort.. and with drugs and technology today.. almost no risk. :crackup:

Just proves that sex is not what most women are after in their dealings with men.

but I agree with playher, and sex for woman is easy jsut open her legs and wait to happen, and woman using sex to get what they want is nothing new.

pretty much is woman do sex to get things and mans do things to get sex
